Yeah! - Was brilliant. It was so important that in replacing Rickie, we didn't just sign a goalscorer. I can remember that when we were linked with Pelle before we signed him that there was a really good YouTube compilation of him at Feyenoord and it equally showed his goals with his assists.

Agree completely. Ditto Arsenal/Liverpool. I find it astonishing only Man Utd bid for him. Players like Mane & Van Dijk (Wanyama too) are the exact sort of prototypical Saints signings that I love us getting - Players the big clubs look at, but don't think are ready.

I think this is the problem. I can't help but feel their problem is their midfield defensive 2. Matic was key last season, and I think they should have signed another one this summer. You can bet that if those rumours about them wanting Big Vic in January were not true - then they probably are now.

I can't help but feel there must be some kind of internal issue that hasn't come out yet. The intriguing thing about this is he's never had this before and is clearly struggling with how the stop the rot.
