  1. Benassi would be my guess. He's a very "us" signing.
  2. Welcome back Guan 2.0 - Cheers for the updates.
  3. If that's true, that's a relative bargain.
  4. I agree I think we will see Stephen's this season -- but there's no way we aren't signing a new DC.
  5. The obvious are DC & DMC (as replacements for Morgan & Toby) I'd still sign a physical DMC as well. The question marks are: Whether Gaston can show RK he's worthy of a place & whether Isgrove is good enough - So that's where you could possibly see another Attacker coming in. How are we doing for "home grown" players now?
  6. Couple of times I think. There's a link here from July 2012. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2176194/Jeremain-Lens-Southampton-target.html I'm fairly sure I can remember Koeman admitting we went for him last summer too - (Found the link below) http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/9451348/transfer-news-toby-alderweireld-set-for-southampton-medical
  7. A good listen, cheers.
  8. You'd hope so. I'd sign another midfielder (as well as Clasie) - Not sure the club will or not though. They might feel Reed is ready.
  9. LENS IN SUNDERLAND TALKS Dynamo Kiev midfielder Jeremain Lens has confirmed he is in talks with Sunderland over a prospective move. As reports emerged on Monday that he was due on Wearside for a medical, the 27-year-old Dutchman insisted that was not the case, but revealed discussions are under way. He told http://www.foxsports.nl: "I'm not having a medical examination, but I am in talks with Sunderland. "I have never made a secret of the fact that I like the Premier League. Despite Dynamo playing in the Champions League, now it seems like a great opportunity to make the switch."
  10. Ronny Delia certainly talks Virgil up... http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl/virgil-van-dijk-and-celtic-can-prosper-together-1-3811916
  11. Won't Big Vic only have 1 year left if we sold him next summer? So it would be cut-price like Clyne.
  12. If Sadio kicks-on this season, I think he could potentially be in the £30m bracket.
  13. Big Props to Georges Prost too, whom I believe recommended Morgan to Rupert.
  14. Fair play to Les Reed in that regard. Sounds like we're looking to spend it straight away too.
  15. Dominic Fifield @ The Guardian says £24m rising to £27m http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jul/12/morgan-schneiderlin-manchester-united-southampton?
  16. Is Morgan the last remaining remnant of the Jan Poortvliet era?
  17. Smart, because even though we'd have love to have kept him... His value would plummet after this summer. Surprised United were the only club that bid TBH.
  18. I can only echo what others have said. Been a pleasure to see him grow from a scrawny kid into a proper midfield dynamo. Loved seeing him evolve. Played a massive part in our journey. Hope he does the business for United - Think he's a top player. (And he doesn't go to Spurs - Brilliant).
  19. I checked. Must be a record.
  20. Spot on Bats. I reckon City have paid £20m just to tick the home-grown box.
  21. He's more of a winger, I think. Probably have him down as a replacement for Di Maria.
  22. This must be a Saints Web record that we've been linked with Clasie for a year and this is actually the 1st solo thread on him!
