Maybe that Utd story is true... Or maybe it's just a guess. As far as we know, nobody has even tabled an offer yet. But Morgan's recent comments certainly suggest there are talks going on.

From SSN Transfer Centre. (Interesting bit at the end). Liverpool are close to reaching a £12.5million agreement to sign Southampton's Nathaniel Clyne, according to Sky sources. Sky Sports reported earlier this month that the Reds had seen a £10m flatly rejected by Saints, who want at least £15m for the highly-sought-after right-back. It is believed the Merseyside club are in discussions over a structured deal that would take the fee up towards the £15m-mark based on certain conditions that would eventually be met by the player.

Yeah, I heard about that. He will have to be VERY good though.

The best thing about them signing Clyne is that it stops Brendan from literally trying every other player at right-wing back.

What K.Billy posts is usually spot on (at that present time). These thing's change very quickly, and TBF he did say he'd go if we got a silly offer. There's an argument to be made about whether £12.5m is a silly offer of not, but that's not exactly K.Billy's fault.

He showed flashes but I didn't rate him massively over the full duration of his loan. I always had a hunch we'd sign him though. In some ways he's the definition of "Europa squad filler" you probably need - And King Ronald obviously rates him.

He clearly is. £12.5m is a disappointment though.

IMBULA TO INTER Inter are close to finalising a deal for Marseille’s Giannelli Imbula. The deal would see the player join the Italians on a one-year loan for 1 million euros with an option to buy for 18 millions euros. Imbula, who has made seven appearances for France at U21 level and has been dubbed “the next Patrick Viera”, has been previously linked with Arsenal and Southampton.

Jenkinson is good, but we can't guarantee he'd play every week so can't see that being a go'er.
