Man City this season > Chelsea last season Very #Saintsy. I didn’t think we’d get him on a permanent, either. Shields’ influence must’ve helped us (& might continue to help us) even before he joins. - Still pleased to see us signing players in a lovely ascending order 😄. - Also, worth noting it still gives us a loan option from City (Delap / McAtee etc)

Re: Chelsea. Still keeping half an eye on what happens with Harvey Vale & whether he signs a contract or not. Think he’s got 1 year left.

They are animals at youth recruitment. Very impressive.

Nolan, any idea of the comparable quality of that league? I wonder if any academy lads might go there?

Kind've feel like he'd be best as the "Essien" of the classic 3-man Chelsea central midfield. Isn't a DM & isn't an AMC. But can do the box-to-box something between the 2.

I like Diallo. I feel like he needs a run to get some rhythm. The problem is, I'm not convinced he's exactly the midfield type we needed.
