  1. MP spoke with Coutinho, but don't think there was ever an offer made.
  2. We had better stay up! Verdu was one of the players that 1st came into my mind. Out of contract at Espanyol.
  3. The OP's nipper isn't far wrong re: Remy. He'd be fantastic (But out of our wage bracket). I don't know enough about Astori to warrant picking him. (But certainly a quality centre-back is a must). I'd go for Thomas Ince. Young, hungry, English & suits our system perfectly. 18 goals / 14 assists this season.

  5. Good point. In some ways it was actually a very good bench mark for how the start of the season turned out...
  6. They normally nick one from us, in fairness.
  7. That'd be a good move for him.
  8. That'd be a massive bonus if he could cover left-back. I'm pretty sure Ince will still end up at Anfield, but I do wonder whether he's good enough for them yet. I think Phillips is still a realistic option. Our record of signing young English players has been pretty good in the last couple of years. He's done very well for them this year - Do Watford even own him? Or is it one of those dodgy loans?
  9. Glad you added Ince Trippier is a decent shout, with Richardson & Butterfield likely off in the summer.
  10. Anyone from the Championship team of the year? Kasper Schmeichel, Kieran Trippier (Burnley), Wes Morgan (Leicester), Mark Hudson (Cardiff), Wayne Bridge (Brighton), Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace), Thomas Ince (Blackpool), Peter Whittingham (Cardiff), Yannick Bolasie (Crystal Palace), Glenn Murray (Crystal Palace), Matej Vydra (Watford).
  11. I forgot him. Was too busy making my dashes in the formation look pretty.
  12. We'll probably go for: -----------Boruc----------- Yoshi--Fonte--Hooiveld--Clyne -------Cork--Morgan------- Puncheon-----Davis-----Lallana ----------Lambert----------
  13. This. On a sidenote, WTF has happened to Hoilett? Always thought he was quality when I watched him.

  15. Cheers for posting the above, Saint-Armstrong. Made for a great read. Some really good stuff in there.
  16. Yeah, their chairmen really hacked him off by not allowing him to move, and then he picked up a nasty injury I think. Potential is still there IMO. Although I think Ince suits us more. Phillips seems like more of an out & out winger.
  17. Saganowski in the champions league -- The mind boggles!
  18. Last time I checked, I think it's:- - Forecast (yay!) - Dickson - Richardson - Butterfield - Seaborne - Hoskins (maybe)
  19. This was the 1st one that popped into my head.
  20. Real toss-up between staying up (if we do) and getting promoted from the CCC. I'd give it to promotion last year - We effectively did it with our league 1 team, and pretty much went the whole season without a right winger. Fantastic achievement.
  21. Great move by the club. Was getting a bit worried we'd lose him.
  22. Damn good player http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/8641538/Manchester-United-reported-to-have-watched-Angelo-Ogbonna-in-action
  23. He'd be able to play for more than one season at 29!
  24. I believe you are correct, Pilch. I've got Forecast, Seaborne, Dickson, Chaplow down as being also out of contract. Unsure on any others.
