Can't think of many (realistic) signings that we could've made that we missed out on that I'm jealous about - Caulker & Bony perhaps, if I was pushed. Go back a bit further and Coutinho is the player I'm gutted we couldn't land. FWIW - I think Chamakh & Downing will actually be good signings for their respective clubs.

One thing I often forget re: Osvaldo (perhaps because a lot of us were talking about Damiao) was that THEVMAN actually mentioned this in July... Don't think there's much doubt that Osvaldo is that elusive 3rd target we've yet to land.
