Just after the game, I did have a bit of a flashback to watching Blackpool in the Prem. It's the defence that worries me the most.

I was surprised he came onto the wing position today - I thought the Mayuka signing, coupled with Sharp leaving on loan mean't he was nailed onto be Rickie's alternative option down the middle.

Was a bitter pill to swallow. So many positives to take from it, but we need to get this first 4 games out the way and press on from there. Front 3 looked fantastic at times. JWP impresses me more and more. Thought Morgan was quality with his intercepting of passes. Clyne still looks quality. I'm 50/50 on Fox. Love his delivery, but too many passes go astray IMO. Kelvin nearly killed me twice with those 2 passes that were absolutely shocking. Gutted we couldn't hold on - Absolutely gutted.

The general consensus was that Mayuka signed in place of Phillips. That I suppose could change if Sharp goes and we wanted to play Mayuka down the middle.

The only way I'd let Sharp leave would be if Mayuka goes up top, and Matt Phillips (or another wide-man comes in)
