Glad this looks like being sorted tomorrow( or today in UK time). Hopefully the first of several quality signings. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than turning over Liverhampton at Anfield on the opening weekend of the Season. It is a worry to see the heart ripped out of what was arguably the best ever Saints team. There was real potential there for that team to push on. Hypothetically speaking, I wonder if we had made more of an effort at Sunderland in the FA Cup and somehow managed to get to the final or win it, whether so many rats would have been so quick to desert the proverbial sinking ship.
