  1. I hope not. A truly awful player, which will just epitomise how far we have fallen.
  2. I agree. We are two injuries away from a back four containing Davis and Hooiveld. As recent history shows, that is a SCARY prospect.
  3. From the Daily Mirror website.. Having a laugh at our expense. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/southampton-transfer-fruit-machine-predict-3949647
  4. Dire Straits - Love over gold Pink Floyd - Wish you were here Take That - The Circus Supertramp- Breakfast in America Christopher - Colours
  5. Ah Taggart..
  6. This board has become a joke. Amateurs. I cringed the day Cortese left and this is why. A rudderless ship hurtling at a rate of knots headlong into the abyss. Reminds me of this quote from The Dark Tower "Do they see the lethal insanity of a race to the brink of oblivion, and then over the edge? Apparently not. If" they did, surely they wouldn't be racing to begin with. Or is it a simple failure of imagination? One doesn't like to think such a rudimentary failing could bring about the end, yet.."
  7. The Magician longs to see.
  8. Through the darkness of futures past...
  9. What an Inspirational Man.
  10. Whatever happened to the Banner that we all chipped in for? My fave memory of Marcus was seeing him with his camera at Wembley, as happy as can be..
  11. Glad this looks like being sorted tomorrow( or today in UK time). Hopefully the first of several quality signings. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than turning over Liverhampton at Anfield on the opening weekend of the Season. Always hated them with a passion, and recent events means I hate them with a renewed vigour and passion!
  12. Before my time unfortunately. Hence the arguably...! Certainly the best Saints team in my lifetime.
  13. It is a worry to see the heart ripped out of what was arguably the best ever Saints team. There was real potential there for that team to push on. Sadly we seem to be in free-fall at the moment and our usual summer dilly-dallying away in the transfer market means this season is going to be primarily about survival. Hypothetically speaking, I wonder if we had made more of an effort at Sunderland in the FA Cup and somehow managed to get to the final or win it, whether so many rats would have been so quick to desert the proverbial sinking ship.
  14. Perhaps we should have a mini fund raising drive and put our own advert in the Echo, So we can tell Mr Lallana what we really think of him?
  15. Happy about this. Good news.
  16. Definitely not. As I said at the time, Getting rid of Adkins was the right thing to do. He had taken us as far as he could.
  17. Don't need to be ITK to see that our board had an opportunity to sort this out weeks or even months ago. Instead all we had was this gash about being in no rush, He still has a year to run on his contract, all is good in our garden rubbish. If Cortese had still been at the helm, then this would not have happened.
  18. The Dream died the day Cortese left. The contract thing should have been handled weeks ago, instead we have had this namby pamby approach from the board and this is what happens. Makes us look like fools.
  19. One bit of QPR pressure all game and Derby couldn't deal with it. Livid. Seeing that saggy faced twitchy **** celebrating has ruined my Saturday.
  20. according to Adam Blackmore, Dodd and Williams.
  21. Anyone but QPR. Will then look forward to the financial meltdown as good old Arry walks away leaving another club in a complete mess....
  22. Dire. Lacked pace. Shaw's crossing and final ball in particular were poor. Lambert dire. Lallana poor. Too many passengers.
  23. That was I thinking when I read the tweet. The bit saying he has his fingers crossed he will recover is very alarming!
  24. Not on loan. We need him out of the club. He isn't good enough.
  25. Gazzaniga in shocker number 2. He is a joke!
