  1. lot of spurs fans in the home end then...
  2. If any saints fans bother to turn up I imagine SMS will be pretty empty for the rest of the season..
  3. The players should have enough about them to just ignore the manager if it clearly isn't working. We really lack a proper captain in the team some one to pull the players up by the short and curlies and make then work and fight we have team of bottle jobs
  4. It's not just the manager ( though he is obviously part of the problem) the players make so many poor decisions that they shouldn't be making, they have no fight or seemingly a will to win. We've slowly downgrade the squad until it's befret of leaders and players who can make a difference when we need it.
  5. Feels like relegation if we can't keep a two goal lead we are ****ed. Manager is **** and the squad is just not good enough. Defence is a shadow of the last few seasons, attack still not good enough. Can't keep a clean sheet can't score enough goals result ...****ed.
  6. The end of days must be here JWP three goals in two games WTF...
  7. Black to commemorate the death of SFC Champions League dreams...
  8. pretty much the players got what they wanted and responded by being even more ****e..
  9. fair enough but of the two I'd rather have a proper CF to lead the line.
  10. It is (always has been) but looking past the propaganda the Sam Wallace articles normally give the best reflection of what's going on he is clearly the only jurno (maybe Adam Blackmore to a point) with and inside track on what's actually happening behind the scenes.
  11. is this bit for real? In the past the club feel they have never sought to take credit publically for their dazzling recruitment successes, with £166 million of players sold to Liverpool alone since 2014. It is part of the reason why the likes of Les Reed, the most senior football executive, talk so rarely about their trading, with the plan being that the football speaks for itself – which it usually does. I love the way flogging half a squad to Liverpool is deemed something to celebrate...
  12. All seems plausible I'm sure saints were happy to have him at the right price but he is not special enough to be throwing all our cash at. As someone else said earlier I'd rather we got a proper CF in the Pelle/ Lambert mould anyway.
  13. Only if both parties agree. Everton could agree to pay all up front or in less, bigger, instalments the structure of any agreement is probably in the hands of the selling club unless they are in a very weak position (like a player with only 6 months left on a contract). Also wages, signing on fees and agents still have to be taken into account clearly they have to paid right from the off not when Liverpool give us the next bit of cash.
  14. Given the way we've played recently a restricted view is probably a blessing got to be better than actually having to see it with your eyes....
  15. yes doesn't change the fact we don't have 75 million sitting in the bank just waiting to be splashed on players.
  16. made my laugh President Trump caused a stir with his announcement that the United States had delivered F-52 fighter jets to Norway. Was it a secret advanced jet capable of beating its Russian counterparts? A ruse to fool intelligence analysts? Neither, it turns out. The “F-52” is a fictional jet only available to fly if you’re a gamer at the controls of “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2018/01/11/trump-lauded-delivery-of-f-52s-to-norway-the-planes-only-exist-in-call-of-duty/?utm_term=.c75b13cb4aaf
  17. we don't have £75 million in the bank its being paid in instalments, 5 million is add ons and we have to give Celtic a cut.
  18. Not really. He could have been a serious target but not at the expense off breaking the club wage structure or paying over the odds for him.
  19. Pretty much agree with all of that.
  20. It's eBay syndrome where people will keep bidding to win an item, even to the point of paying more than just buying the item new, just to win the auction.
  21. Where has Walcott said he wants to come here and take a pay cut? Maybe if we where the only club interested he might consider a pay cut but if another club wants to give him his current wages why wouldn't he take that?
  22. I'm in two minds about Walcott at the right price he'd be a useful addition but paying over the odds on transfer and wages for a injury prone player, who relies on pace and heading towards the latter stages of his career doesn't seem sensible.
  23. It's not a goal but I seem to remember it being pretty bloody loud as we invaded the pitch after smashing Coventry 4-0 last day of the 2011-12 season
  24. yep that was a good one I think that game was the point you knew we were going back up.
  25. Russian bid to influence Brexit vote detailed in new US Senate report Russia’s attempts to influence British democracy and the potential vulnerability of parts of the UK political system to anti-democratic meddling during the EU referendum have been detailed in a report prepared by the US Senate. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/jan/10/russian-influence-brexit-vote-detailed-us-senate-report No way of really knowing how much effect the Russian attempts had but slightly disturbing stuff anyway.
