Think he should link up with Nigel at Sheffield Utd reckon he could still a job for them if he played regularly. Going to Liverpool killed him at his age not playing regularly was never going to be good.

Can Clasie play two games in three days? Thought he was outstanding last night but that was the first full 90 he has played so I wonder if he can go again so soon. I reckon we could see Victor back in for Clasie on Saturday... . unfortunately

How we going to counter attack a team that will play with 10 behind the ball and one up front? WBA will be a very different game. Watford came to play football (badly as it turned out) WBA will come to play for a 0-0 and hope to nick one. I don't think we can just play the same 11 in the same formation and expect more of the same against brom.

yeah atmosphere got better in the second half in the Itchen North (though still not great). I put it down to nerves after the last few results I think a lot of people were expecting the worst.

Sat on the bus Clasie MOTM he might be on the small side but he is a little terrier nipping away at the opposition and putting in some great tackles added to that he has an eye for a pass he could be a good player for us. Everyone played well tonight no sign of the brain farts that have been costing us. Mane needs a goal I reckon once one goes in he will be up and running. Only slight criticism is that players seem scared to just head into the opposition box at times. To night both Mane and Davis pulled up anf tried a pass when they had space to head into the box and shoot.

I don't see that as a problem that is a manger trying to find something that works. Last year we were so solid defensively and that gave us a platform for our success. Pretty much all those formations are about Ronald trying to get that defensively stability back to give us a platform to work from. Sadly for Ronald our defence has become extremely prone to brain farts which pretty much nullifies the benefits of a formation change.

Interesting I see it the total opposite as a team we are not playing badly IMO teams aren't hammering us or playing us of the park. What's costing us individual mistakes, poor decisions and some players having dropped off the form they showed last season. Player of the season so far is most likely VVD but he really isn't getting much competition. There are some talented players in the squad but they really need to raise their game.

Personally I think the manager is being let down by the players he clearly isn't sending them on to the pitch with orders to make stupid school boy errors and switch off . To many players not playing to the level they a capable off forget the players who have left many of those who did well last season are playing below the level of last season that isn't down to the manager but down to the players Fonte, Victor and Mane are all well below par this season and Pelle and Tadic have dropped off their early season form.

Tough call between him and big Sam Gallagher though both are clearly better than Tadic...

yep he would have been the missing piece in our attacking play scored more than Pelle this season IIRC

Again considering how this season is going I wish Newcastle all the ****ty luck in the world ....so good

yeah I thought everyone wanted to pack the squad out with academy boys who can't do any worse than the 1st team (apparently) if we get anyone in we are just blocking the pathway....

Had a quick look at the Liverpool forum. They sound a lot like us when we signed him trying to convince themselves he's half decent...

On paper Newcastle have some decent players still wish we'd been in for Wijnaldum he would have been the AM we are missing.

I think he was bit of a desperation signing. Wasn't he signed just after the whole Toby thing went tits up? Think the club just panicked a bit once when we suddenly looked light on CBs once we got in VVD caulker was never going to play.

Arguably the big difference between this season and last is our DM is a shadow of last season. With Morgan gone and Victor's form gone to pot I'd imagine getting our defensive stability back would appeal to Ronald so I can see why the club would be interested. Agree though we need someone who can get the ball in the back of the net.

Personally don't think we have been playing that bad in general only team I've seen out play us in the league was Everton other than that we've held our own. Lack of goals (and some terrible individual errors) are killing us if we find our scoring touch again we will be fine if we don't it could get messy.
