Think that's unfair I saw plenty of effort what let them down was to a man the players managed to make the wrong decision every single bloody time. Shooting when a pass would have been better, passing when they should have shot, defenders bombing forward when they should have sat, passing to the player surrounded by stokies rather than the one in acres of space no lack of effort just loads of brain farts.

That is very interesting So JWP has better passing stats with regards to key passes and chances created this season than Lallana ........ VVD is better than Lovern as a defender ... kind of a given considering Lovern's form at Liverpool and perhaps the biggest surprise Cedric has totally dicked Clyne on the stats given in the video (but yet loses his place to Yoshida )

I think quite a few managers in the PL don't to get to use the money from player sales not many clubs in the PL let their managers have a complete say over transfers these days.

TBF we've bought up half the bloody Eredivisie in the last two summers all those players plus VVD are clearly players Ronald wanted I don't think he can really suggest the board haven't backed him on player transfers.

Even if we get past Liverpool we are facing PL team in the semis all three of which have beaten us already this season the draw in the last round really didn't work out to well.

I'm quite surprised not one PL club went for him in the summer QPRs £15 million didn't seem a bad price for someone who proved he can score goals in the PL. Wages could be an issue but I'm sure plenty of PL clubs have spunked big wages on worse players.

Koeman was quoted as saying he said no to a number of under 21 player loans because the squad isn't deep enough so I don't think he will loan out those two. Juanmi might get a chance with injuries and suspensions at some stage and then will be up to him to stake a claim on a regular spot. Clearly Martina will get a go when hell freezes over and Doris the tea lady is injured and there is literally no one else to play ....unless a fan brought his football boots in that day in which case Martina can go back to the bench.

I'd happily take Benteke, Clyne and Coutinho off their hands and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want any of our players ( I bet they will steer well clear of buying any players off us for a long time ) other than perhaps VVD.

Well to be honest if you think the club are going to sell someone like Mane for 40 million and then buy another 40 million forward you are a bit deluded. The aim is to get better by picking up players that are (or potentially are) good enough for the PL, but that others haven't taken a punt on, for low cash outlay (relatively speaking). It's not hard to get your head around we can't just buy players with no re-sale value and take a loss on them like the big boys do the idea is to improve the squad and the clubs bank balance at the same time. It's a high risk strategy which has paid off so far but the club don't get it right all the time and some times have to just bite the bullet and get a player that doesn't fit the bill because we need a squad (Long comes to mind).

Because the whole point of the clubs policy is to buy good players cheap and then turn them into better players and flog them for more money than we paid for them. Which isn't really going to work if we buy players for the same money we just flogged the last one for.....

Martina was clearly Erwin's influence I'm pretty sure Ronald could have stopped that transfer if he wanted.

Probably right just wouldn't mind a summer where I can just sit back and watch some other clubs fans having a meltdown ( a proper meltdown rather than a top 6 team "oh god we've only spent 50 million" meltdown) ?
