Well you can but you aren't really in full possession of the facts, until the transfer window closes, so any conclusions made may well be wide of the mark just like last summers melt down on here. Even judging the new signings is pretty difficult considering how little game time most of them has had so far.

It would be interesting to know how all these signings have affected the other PL clubs wage structures and weather those teams are pushing their finances to the limit signing some of these players. Saints will not break their wage structure and look to be finically self sufficient (was last summer the club admitted they budget for finishing 10th?) so People waiting on saints to start breaking the bank, offering massive wages and bringing big name signings are probably going to be disappointed.

Still don't know what you think we should do about though? We can stand firm on one player (like we did with Morgan) and Everton can do with Stones. Just imagine though how last season would have turned out if we had kept all the want aways we would have five players all ****ed we hadn't let them go for their dream moves what sort of atmosphere do you think that would have made for in the squad? The truth is all though we've lost good players I honestly believe we have a stronger squad with more depth than we did when poch arrived.

What are you expecting? He is playing for fitness you can hardly expect him to be charging around the pitch throwing himself in to challenges and running himself into the ground.

Funny I thought Jordy looks comfortable, good feet, some nice passes and good at dropping in to cover the CB when they go forward albeit in an under 21 match. Can't help feeling people are just going to hate Jordy for not being Morgan.

Isn't that because everyone else in Europe wants to fleece cash rich PL clubs for every penny they can?

I'd by happy (and not all surprised ) if we get in another decent DM. I just think people are going to compare every DM we sign to Morgan when a like for like replacement is unlikely.
