  1. Tranmere on loan...
  2. Think my boss should start making videos like this to show first thing Monday morning to get us up for work Love these kind of saints videos real spine tingling stuff.
  3. The way to level the playing field is for Fifa to cap wages (I reckon £500 a week is more than enough for playing footie) world wide and cap player transfers at a £1000 a player. Money then becomes irrelevant. Probably infringes on players and agents human rights or something though.
  4. Even more so when you consider last summers chaos. At the start of the season I had us down finishing as a lower middle table side while Koeman re-built the team and the new players adjusted to the PL. To have a season better than the last one is incredible.
  5. from that article The Saints also have doubts about the future of Jose Fonte. do we really?
  6. yep might have been better to keep him and let him go on a free IMO
  7. Looks like Poch is going into the transfer market this summer maybe we can give him Osvaldo and Gaston No Tottenham player's future is safe, warns Pochettino http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/05/14/uk-soccer-england-tottenham-idUKKBN0NZ2KM20150514 Strange he signals us out as a team who spent lots of money "You ask me about two seasons ago that maybe the manager had a lot of money to spend like (Ronald) Koeman at Southampton and maybe (Louis) Van Gaal at Manchester United. Are you asking me if I have the same possibility? No.
  8. I see UKIP are having a meltdown looks like Nigel's leadership isn't quite as popular as people thought. Guess this power struggle will play out over the next few days.
  9. Two things a) it really isn't vital it would be great to keep him he is a talented player but he is only one player (one that has been injured quite a bit this season to) b) the club doesn't have much say in this this he is still an Atletico player they have have the final say. Atletico have already said they want him to return to play for them next season.
  10. According to this interview with Les Reed Clyne has got himself a new agent, after binning his last one, so possibly not such a done deal after all. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?54190-Les-Reed-talks-Jay-amp-Clyne-contracts
  11. Interesting that Clyne has sacked his agent and got a new one who is talking to Les Reed....
  12. huh? Koeman wants to get rid of our captain and player of the season. Meanwhile Man U and Liverpool are considering a 31 year old as the future of their defence ..............ok
  13. Great job, very funny, love saints.
  14. Must admit when we where league 1 I really grew to dislike Austin he always seemed to score against us and give it large seemed like a bit of a ****. Fair play to the bloke though he has proved he can cut it in the PL and I wouldn't mind him giving it large to opposition fans in a saints shirt. 10 million seems good value to.
  15. Maybe they don't see the point in paying big money for someone who will be free next summer?
  16. Signing a 32 year old right back doesn't exactly smack of forward planning.
  17. Clyne up next followed by Morgan and Victor signing new 5 years contracts...........
  18. but we are doing better.....
  19. Good news if he comes back the same player he was before his injury. Despite all the press stories I didn't really think he was going anywhere this summer to much of a risky signing for other clubs IMO until he gets some game time under his belt.
  20. Mostly replacing the players we lost. We have done better than last season so what the hell you were expecting is beyond me. Like it or not there is a glass ceiling that the club has hit breaking the top six is a mammoth task that isn't going to happen easily.
  21. Have we just found Dalek's other account;)
  22. Our downfall being our highest ever points total in the PL (possibly our highest ever finish) after having the guts ripped out of the team last summer? Lets hope the next few seasons are filled with downfalls to if this what a downfall looks like...
  23. From the article in the link The Boateng news doesn't surprise me, in truth I would have released him months ago. His performances have largely been lethargic, and he has been an unwanted distraction. His cigarette incident in February 2014 - when he was snapped smoking and drinking a beer after the game before his doping test - was brushed under the carpet by Heldt. Thanks but no thanks
