  1. Get the F uck in. Since that horrible loss to Brentford the team is now playing the way it should have been all season, confidence is an amazing thing and the team seems to have got theirs back. Brighton must be s hitting themselves now. Nothing but champions will be good enough now! Bring on Notts county I bet they're really worried now.
  2. Maybe the atmosphere has more to do with whats going on the pitch rather than were the singers sit? just a thought but certain teams just get the crowding going for whatever reason and some don't. Maybe we could just get the away team to were a pompey strip for every home game?
  3. General with Deppo's posts it best to just assume he means the exact opposite of what he said.......................................
  4. So were does the family enclosure go? next to the away fans?
  5. Thats fair enough but secure for life?
  6. Aren't they both broke? wouldn't have thought the contract would be that good, although probably better than bompey are paying him.
  7. Ok so lets turn your argument round and say how many times would sir Alex have won the PL, champions league or FA cup with the resources of a team like Stockport? he is undoubtly a good manager but are you telling me he could have achieved all he has achieved without being at a big club like Manachester united with all the extra resources that entails? are you really telling me you believe the extra resources of the big clubs do not help a manager to achieve more? fine if you are don't mean I have to agree with it.
  8. No its like saying who'd win a car race, a top class driver in a robin reliant or a an average driver in a porsche 911?
  9. No thats your answer. I merely posed a question one that is in fact pretty unaswerable unless Sir Alex decided to drop man U and become the next Bournemouth or Stockport manager. Sorry but I'm firmly of the opinion that it is easier to achieve success at big football club with bigger rescources, and while Liverpool might not have won the league in the last twenty they have won plenty of trophies ( 3 FA cups, 3 league cups, 2 FA charity shields, champions league and the uefa cup)so yes quite a bit easier to win things at one of the big clubs than say Stockport.
  10. I'm not saying he's a bad manager but it has to be a lot easier at a big club like Man U. He doesn't have to watch all his talent being nicked by clubs higher up the food chain (becuase how many clubs are bigger than Man U in europe other than Barca and Real), if he wants a player from another team he will most likely get him (becuase he has the the cash to buy them and not many players are going to turn down Man U). Of course he's a good manager but how well would he be doing if he were manager of a club with the resources of Bournemouth or Torquay?
  11. I suppose although you have to wonder how well he would have done at a team that haven't had the huge resources of Man U for the last 20+ years. I bet if he'd been manager of Stockport or such like he would have had a far less impressive record.
  12. I hate to say it but those two things would tip me off on what to expect as far as the kids issue were concerned. Luckily I'm to poor to afford such luxury as the family club. Subway and coffee at half time is as far as my budget stretches.
  13. I thought all real Mancs support city and only southerners supported Man U:?. Mind you I imagine if we had been the top club in England (agrubably Europe at times too) for as long as Manure have we'd have our fair share of obnoxious ****s too.
  14. Ahh I see. Well it's hardly suprising unless a club are PL you can't expect much in the way of decent reporting or facts.
  15. What this one? Bournemouth are currently second in League One, just four points behind leaders Brighton. Seems right to me, what I'm missing?
  16. After the last few weeks I have a new found optimism about saints. The first half of the season was poor for me but since Brentford we've played really well goals are coming and we now look like the team that finished last season. Nothing less than champions for me now. As long as we keep up the performance levels of the last couple of weeks I can't see Oldham getting much change from us 0-3 the saints.
  17. That sounds like Milton keynes (were my in laws live) PL shirts abound (though considering their other option I'm not surprised) I'm sure my kids will love it, though my nine year old does not like to see saint lose puts him in a right bad mood (actually he's not much diffent from me on that score).
  18. Fair enough. My experince is kids tend to follow dads example if dad supports manure so do the kids if dad supports saints so do the kids.
  19. Bit harsh my brats are red and white through and through so are their mates. In fact my kids probably no more about league one footy than they do PL. I imagine we'll being playing another PL reserve side anyway rather than a manure first team.
  20. What just hang near the ticket office with an iron bar and a ski mask. "Excuse me mate which stand you in? that 'll do nicely hand em over" Bosh.......
  21. F uck off plastic if you were a real fan like me you'd have gone to at least one game like I did last season with the JPT final.
  22. I'm sure it will be on the telly were they won't watch it anyway.................
  23. Man U good stuff. That will make all the "we don't want to be in the cup" types happy as we are vey unlikely to win. Better hope no one snezees on Berbacheat in the penalty area.
  24. Well he got his four and half year deal he can stop trying now.........................
