  1. Yes I'm normally one of the blanket and thermos brigade in the Chapel. Found myself in the Itchen today right next to the away fans I excpected loads of singing but it seemed really quite apart from a little chant of "PL you having a laugh" at the end to upset Hollowhead. Ah well back to the peace and quite of the Chapel next week.
  2. Was today the closest he has ever come to a first team outing? I was quite suprised when his name was read out my nine year old thought we'd signed a new player:lol:.
  3. Maybe he really thought he could tonk the little league one side with his reserves.
  4. From Nigels bit in todays Programme "Our Brazillian forward is settling in well here at Southampton and understands more of the culture we have and the standards required of hard work and team ethic" Which kind of reads to me as he was a bit of a lazy git when he arrived but now he has pulled his finger out he's turning into a good player.
  5. Lambert looked hungry for goals today he seems to be going for goal a lot more often now, earlier in the season he seemed afraid to shoot. Wish he'd sort his free kicks out though, back to last seasons standard.
  6. There was loads of movement today our players were popping up all over the place it all seemed very fluid
  7. Can Blackpool afford him? I hope he stays the spell at Millwall seems to have done him the world of good, best performance I've seen from him in a while.
  8. I know this horrible cup thing is going to ruin our season. They'll all be knackered for tuesday (even the five that didn't play) how will Guly and Oxo cope having played 20mins between them........
  9. Puncheon was great too, TBH can't really fault any of our players today top performances from all of them.
  10. Not as well as today though, he plays like he did today for the rest of the season alongside Chaplow (sorry Dean) and not many teams will cope with our midfield.
  11. I'll take your word on Hudders as I wasn't there, but he was so far above the performance he put in against Exeter today. I haven't seen him play as well as he did today all season.
  12. He did applaud Guly's goal which was sporting, I believe his fans gave us a chant of "championship you're having a laugh" which was a bit odd..........
  13. I think it's not offering it enough. He was outstanding today (my MOM) but he hasn't been putting performances like that in on a regular basis (or at all) this season and that's were the problem lies for me.
  14. Probably becuase we know he can turn in a performance like today yet hasn't played like that all season.
  15. This was the best match of the season for me so far, every player in the white and red seemed to play his guts out today. Totally outplayed a PL (reserve) team today. Morgan was my MOM he was amazing today. The Northam were well up for it and had a good banter going the the blackpool fans. This is what the FA cup is all about and why I love it. Oh Barney's goal was great he was really calm and composed under pressure to place his shot, Guly's wasn't to shabby either.
  16. He was ****ing amazing today tackling and passing were top draw. Why doesn't he play like that every week?
  17. I don't like saints to lose ever it puts me in a bad mood, so no I don't want us to lose.
  18. yes. Sadly a fuel guzzling jet engine aircraft isn't a lot of use when you don't have any oil or fuel. The problem with all Germany's uber weapons was there was never enough of them.
  19. Only in Captain America stories.......
  20. I doubt it. I think Adam is the one player all saints fans love never heard a bad word said about him at SMS and thats not true of any other player I can think of.
  21. Rest! I want to give him a standing ovation and sing his name (while watching him score a hatrick to celebrate his new deal) bit tricky if he is not there.
  22. I doubt I'll find it funny but if saints losing makes you happy feel free to laugh all you like..................
  23. Great news! I love watching Adam turn oppostion players inside out on the pitch (having said that my 9 year olds opinion of him has changed when he read that Adam prefers to read a book than play fifa11:lol:) My feelings of joy are only slightly tempered by the fact that a contract doesn't mean he won't leave if the right offer comes in. At least now anyone who wants him will have to part with a lot of money.
  24. We had far less for Shrewsbury (10,000+) and Cheltenham(9,000+) and won both of those. Last season we had a full house against pompey and lost 4-1 so I'm thinking prehaps not
  25. no you're not
