Earliest age to take a child to a football match?
letissisgod replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
To be fair it was the Brentford game, so we never actually scored. We sat in the family section, plenty of empty seats so wasn't particulary noisey. He certainly didnt have a problem with me airing my views though, politely ofcourse. Took plently of stuff to keep him occupied, IPAD etc. but never took it out the bag. He was just content to sit and watch. -

Took my little lad recently to the Brentford game, bad choice I know, but it was for a birthday treat. It was his second Birthday and amazingly he sat in his seat for the full 90 minutes. I was prepared for him to last about 10 minutes, but he was completely glued. This was his second game, his first was the Ajax game, aged 7 months, he watched about 10 mins then slept through the rest. -
Took my 2 year old son yesterday for his first proper game, birthday treat, what a cruel Father I am.

You're right it is terrible, thats why I live on Littledown, nice and peaceful here, can still here the few at dean court on match days though.

Really want AP to put out a strong side, as I now live in Bournemouth, literally 5 mins on foot from their ground , we really really need to beat them just to shut them up for a bit at least. Can't stand the thought of losing, just can't !!!!!!!!! So come on boys, understand the importance of this game for some of those Saints supporters who now have the pleasure of living up the road, with the "coffin dodgers"
-
WOW exactly the same routine as me, although I do always make sure I have time, to tap my paving stone 3 times and touch Teds toe with my left hand.
-
Live 5 minutes walk from there ground, will be bizarre having an away game that is closer than a home game. Best of luck to them, now lets do them for 6 points and get on with winning this damn league.

I purchased a full kit for my sons 1st birthday back in December online, size 12 - 18 months. even had his name Matty 1. (yes named after the main man) put on the back, looks the business.

So who's received their wembley tickets in the post yet?
letissisgod replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
received my 2 tickets from the MK dons allocation, waiting for 3 more from general sale. -
Could we please build it in Bournemouth, make travelling to home games so much easier.

I will be taking a flag I took to Fratton in 1984, red with a white stripe down the middle, unbeleivable my mum still had it tucked away in my old room, bless her. If you watch the highlights of the game you can clearly see it in the saints end - happy days !!!!

Just got home, queued at 6.30 this morning. Fantastic effort to see Mr. Cortese walk the line and shake hands at 7.00 and organise free tea and coffee
-
Just trying to get a feel for what sort of time people are going to start queuing for tickets on Thursday.
-

was out with his best mate the other evening. He also mentioned that Adam absolutely raves about Papa, all the players rate him very very highly, and are really tipping him to do well.
-
