Apologies to anyone offended but this is Southampton related.

  15. 54, now reside in an SO postcode in Locks Heath/Warsash, first home game Aston Villa 1962 won 6-2, first away game Man Utd won 2-0 (Channon 2), remember being lifted over the turnstiles at the Archers Rd end by my Dad every time that season, still don't understand why? STH Itchen stand with my dear old Dad (82) think this might be his last year as a STH though, his first game he tells me was in 1939. He's been going to games pretty regularly since then home and away.

  19. Nick Mason and Richard Wright from Pink Floyd in one of the bars on the Zeebrugge ferry on the way to Anderlecht 77. I seem to remember their customised tour bus below decks all black + shiny with tinted windows.
  20. I hope this is the right place to post this!! Those of you of a certain age (over 54) may remember Glen Giles from Sarisbury/ Locks Heath, big big Saints fan, home and away over the years sadly lost his battle with ill-health on Tuesday this week at Soton Gen. I just wanted his passing to be noted on here, RIP mate, hopefully we'll win one for you on Sat buddy!!!
