Confusing no doubt, ref blew his whistle to get the players attention to come to the centre circle which prompted silence from the fans, then blew again some 15 seconds later to start the minute's silence, which prompted fans to applaud, which then confused everyone to think and say out loud 'that was short', hence embarrassed applause from ref, assistants, players and fans. Clusterf..., but let's not get out of our prams over it, refreshing I prefer to call it!!
