  1. Totally agree with Ely. Just doesn’t close down fully when pressing and is too passive for this league.
  2. Anyone but Elyounoussi… Just never closes down ….
  3. Total nonsense and to compound the illogical opinion given the kids playground tactics we have endured at every game under Jones you make a totally unrelated comparison with sheep and Brexit lol … Around 95% of supporters have seen enough of this Jones crap, if you think they are all just sheep you truly should make more critical analysis of all the evidence and not assume that everyone else is stupid.
  4. Would that be a very long diagonal punt into touch…
  5. Wow what a call this would be 👍
  6. It has been patently obvious that he hasn’t reviewed previous matches and players performances at all. He is shooting from the hip and going over so much old ground…. So unprofessional it really is very very baffling what he is doing here…. It really is bizarre…
  7. So who will drop out as it sure a hell won’t be antithesis of crap and Jones apple of the eye Elyounoussi !!!!!
  8. AA instead of Stuart Armstrong etc etc etc... This guy can just get lost, clueless doesn't begin to describe his incompetence...
  9. We have Stuart Armstrong already but he doesn’t like him. Frankly anyone who picks Ely needs to be having a severe look at themselves… Also ‘frankly’ anyone who picked Jones needs to do the same…
  10. Manager is clueless perhaps?
  11. Agreed. This guy is bloody clueless…
  12. Isn’t the football we play a factor? Our football has been outrageously poor. Our results have unsurprisingly been the same. Had the football been cohesive and organised with rational team selections then perhaps we could be patient even through a poor set of initial results. However, that has clearly not been the case. We were relegated under Lawrie yes but were playing much more intelligent football then than now and went on to play scintillating attractive football …. In those days we also had ambition not like Semmens today who has zero and should take much more blame for this mess we are in than he does.
  13. So you’d pick Mo over Stuart Armstrong would you? Thanks for your input Nathan but we will have to disagree on this and other aspects of your selections, tactics and coaching. This is life… Lets hope you show us fans that you know best and that your mystifying football shows some positive outcomes.
  14. You are as clueless as Jones then I am afraid….
  15. He must be blind not to pick Stuart Armstrong … Wtf
  16. Joke of a team selection again. What is this bloke on?
  17. ‘Can’t fault Elyounoussi for effort’ This is a complete fallacy, he is lazy and never closes down properly. He badly affected the press in the Brighton game by not getting close enough to their back line and allowing Brighton to play out every time. Watch Ely closely and you will see he is not engaging the opposition effectively and we are mostly carrying him. The way he constantly finds time to tell his team mates what to do when he himself is pretty clueless is ironic to say the least…
  18. Agreed, Elyounoussi should be nowhere near this team….
  19. Totally Elyounousi just doesn’t press or close down and at least one goal if not two resulted in Brighton being allowed to break our press because he did not do his job. Who does he think he is pointing the finger continuously at his team mates when he contributes the sum total of sod all…
  20. Well currently he looks as though he and Adams are the two that might scrape into another team in the PL. Not that with some modicum of coaching some others wouldn’t improve of course. ’Coaching’ now there’s a thought…..
  21. It is a sad indictment of our new ‘Manager’ that he can’t see Stuart is our best player and he leaves him out EVEN after coming on against Lincoln and making us look half reasonable for a while. Jones is missing so many things and hasn’t carried out any due diligence on the team at all. it’s bloody scandalous. As so many people have said, what exactly did he do for the six weeks??? Even prior to the six weeks it was obvious he knew he was coming here but did no preparation at all…. Quite unbelievable ….
  22. Watch him closely … He literally never closes down and yesterday the press broke down every time because he simply stood off as he always does btw. He is poor all round, weak and constantly hounds his team mates for nothing when it is his own inadequacies which he should be scrutinising. Ely is not to blame though, the manager is for picking him and then asking him to be pressing from the front, a critical role is a joke.
  23. Spot on …. Can’t add anything to this…
  24. This was blatant, you are correct…. Coaching obviously non existent. The worse culprit being Elyanousi… players who continually blame team mates for everything on the pitch are usually the poorest themselves, he being a case in point.
  25. Very precise, unlike Jones who doesn’t grasp pass and move of that we can see with depressing ease.
