  1. Whenever Kelly spoke last season on Radio Solent he started every comment with the word "yeah." Is he still on Solent or is academy boss at Pompey a full time job??
  2. So not only is he a greedy thick as s hit footballer obsessed by money but his advisers are as well.
  3. Why the cones have to be put out for roadworks at 10pm when there is no f ucker working really p isses me off. Could they not wait for an hour on match nights ?? I got home well past midnight. I just feel sorry for those of you who didn't make it home till after then.
  4. Will there be photos taken at this meeting in the Farmhouse?
  5. They will have to get a license if they want to carry on being Harry's taxi driver.
  6. Does any other jealous scummah see the irony in them trying to forget their past??
  7. 2 points off second in fact - and our goal difference would not be any worse.
  8. From memory he p issed us about when he signed for us back in the Championship. There was a lot of will he / won't he before he signed. I would like him to stay. I want him to sign but we are perfectly right to put him under a bit of pressure. If he is one of the "grass is greener" brigade then let him go .
  9. Were you one of the Page 3 models??
  10. Just got mine. There are a few left under our fans but not many.
  11. Only lived in Southampton between the ages of 2 and 7 but this was the time that I got interested in football, supported the local team and haven't looked back since. Never went to the Dell when we lived in Southampton I although was meant to be going in September 1965 when we played Wolves. Apparently I misbehaved (or so it was claimed) so we never went .... and Saints won 9-3. My son now supports Saints. I have no idea of how I would have coped if he had supported somebody else. He is now marooned up north but was at both Newcastle and Old Trafford last week. I was at Old Trafford cheering on Colin Clarke the last time that we won there so feel pleased that there is a family connection to both wins. I am pleased that I have influenced family members to support Saints. My dad is now an avid supporter (more so than he was in 1965!!). In addition to my son, my cousin who is 10years younger has supported them because of me - as does his son. My nephew who is now 17 has never considered supporting any other team - even though he lives in Solihull and a few years ago was having a hard time from his Villa / Birmingham / Baggies supporting mates.
  12. http://odds.bestbetting.com/football/england/league-two/relegation/ Take your pick
  13. You can still get 33/1 on them being relegated this season. What could be better than buying next week's SMS season ticket from the proceeds of a winning bet on the skates going down?;
  14. Just before Christmas I was in the car driving to work . We had just announced that Elia was joining us and Swansea had announced the acquisition of a new player (Oliveira I think). I then caught the sports news on Talk S hite. Did either of these acquisitions warrant a mention? No way. The only football news that day was apparently Matic announcing that Chelsea can do the quadruple and that Wenger believes that Walcott has lost none of his pace. Acquisitions by 2 clubs that are perceived as punching above their weight are not of interest to the football "world." Is it surprising therefore that our achievements this season have come as a surprise to so many? When I get asked by people whether I am surprised by us this season I reply that I am more surprised by the poor standard of football punditry in this country. If the information that people get fed on football is a diet of soap opera style tittle tattle it is little wonder that they are amazed by us unearthing yet another "surprise" player capable of scoring twice at St James Park.
  15. I was confined to listening the game on Talk Sh ite. Stan "I just cannot help talking bo llocks at 90 mph" Collymore reckoned that we looked like a youth team. Our squad looks that young and inexperienced.
  16. Brentford away, Plymouth aqay and Walsall at home when we came up is all I can remember. Copious qantities of beer however do not help the brain matter

No. 6th place is definitely out because both Liverpool and Spurs won on the same weekend a few weeks ago.
  18. 3rd
  19. Brilliant. But lets follow the bear and aim to win the thing. Title decider ?? Last match of the season at the Etihad ???
  20. I want the Champions League ... but I think we should be aiming to go straight in at the Group stages. Lets concentrate on finishing in the top 2 this season to miss out on the CL qualifying rounds next year. I don't expect this to happen but we should set our sights high. Chelsea have shown they can be vulnerable (conceding 5 at Spurs !!! ) and although Man City looked so good against us they do have their frequent wobbles - recent draws against Burnley and Everton for example. Realistic? Who knows .... but we need to aim high and see what happens. What would be certain is that there would be a whole new load of "experts" and "pundits" as so many of the old ones would die of shock!!
  21. It may be something to do with the beer that I have been drinking ... but I have just watched this clip non stop for the last 5 minutes. Thanks for posting it.
  22. Every time that this thread gets resurrected i shake my head in despair at the childish nature of some of our posters. And every time that it gets resurrected I am delighted as it means we have had another great result. Brilliant.
  23. Don't worry about him mate. He has some kind of personality disorder. Just inore him. Most people do.
  24. I thought Chamberlain had a great game. He seemed to be in central midfield for much of the game and was involved in many of Arsenal's good moves. Chambers was awful. Simply dire. He seemed to be avoiding the ball whenever it came near him and looked totally out of his depth. He is still only 19 but if he wants a long career in the Premier League he needs to find his best position. On the evidence of that match it is certainly not as a holding midfielder.
