  1. GS would point out that over the last 17.5 months your drinks bought to drinks consumed ratio has been very poor indeed. Whilst Bazza would point out what a p iss poor pub this is , how your eyes don't suit the colour of your hair and whatever it is that you are drinking it is not as good as his favourite drink.
  2. Registered users are limited to 3 posts a day. How about limiting main members to say 8 or 10 posts a day ? For the majority of people, this will make little difference but it may prevent the reams of carp spouted every day by the worst of the trolls. If nothing else it would nmean that by posting less often they would offend less.
  3. This is very true and is why the "WUM's are only stating an alternative view" brigade are wrong. Barry can turn any thread iinto a "lets slag Saints" session within a couple of posts. Why waste time on starting an interesting, thought provoking thread when you know that it will quickly be swooped upon by the usual suspects? Take for examplt the thread started a couple of days ago by Saint86 questioning why there isso much gloom on the forum. He must have spent quite a lot of time on his first post. It was argued in a constructive, logical manner. It deserved to generate a decent debate but the usual WUM's quickly descended on it and a bunfight developed. I bet the OP wondered why he ever bothered. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions... it just seems that some are quicker, more predictable and more vociferous than others in giving theirs.
  4. Another thread ruined by the WUMs. I wonder if the mods will act before the forum dies.
  5. Hi Bazza I see that you have been active again today. Looks like 55 posts so far today. You must have a good job that lets you get away with this - or are you the stereotypical Scouser on the dole? Have any of your posts been positive about Saints? I cannot find any. After a season when so much that has been good has happened to Saints I would have thought that perhaps a shred of light would have permeated through your soul. Why don't you wind it in a bit? Do something different. Get a life. Get a job. Perhaps you might find that if you changed your routine a little, spent more time away from this "mong" board, you might start to see things like most people do .... and not through s hite coloured spectacles which seem to be permanently on the end of your nose.. Or Are you a Pompey fan on the wind up? You claim not but ... I don't believe you.
  6. His record at Charlton when he stepped into the manager's chair also smacks of him not having the players "on board." I don't think that being liked or even respected however is essential for being a good Director of Football. If he is the man who negotiates contracts it may even be a good thing. I guess that none of us know whether he is doing his job well . But Charlton's advancement in the football world when he was there and their subsequent fall after he left and our rise since he has been around does indicate that good things happen when he is at a club. Maybe he is just lucky .... but lucky Directors of Football are hard to find!!
  7. Why do you never post anything positive about the club? What was the best Saints goal you have ever seen? Who was your favourite Saint when you were growing up? What was your proudest memory as a Saints fan?
  8. What attracted you to the Saints? Most Scousers at that time supported Liverpool.
  9. I see. When was your first game?
  10. How come you support Saints Barry? You don't come over as a Saints supporter.
  11. Must be an Evertonian then. Probably in mourning after yesterday.
  12. Like most people on this forum I think old Bazza is a WUM pretending to be a Saints fan. But I suppose that you could also call him a ****hole boozer.
  13. Is this the first time that Bazza the Skate hasn't had an opinion on a thread that has run for nearly 2 pages? Or is he having the morning off cycling to Bury and Glasgow is deputising for him?
  14. The real CB Fry was offered the throne of Albania. There is no way that this poster of the same name would be offered such an honour after this appalling lack of decorum !! How dare he come onto this thread populated by deluded nutjobs who worship daily at the shrine of Rallyboy and calmly attack our messiah . It is not the normal targets of CB Fry's wrath such as MLG suggesting that SMS should be enlarged or some poor soul that thinks that we should have fielded a weakened team in the FA cup but Rallyboy who we are talking about!! Insulting Rallyboy on here is like farting in St Peter's in front of the Pope or (to use a Rallyboy simile) like little Avram paying a visit to Horton Heath and failing to come up to size. Mr Fry has only posted on this thread 160 times. A novice. I think we should forgive him for this appalling error of judgement as I doubt that he realises what he has done. I would suggest however that he retreats back to the main board and only returns on here when he has fully repented.
  15. At least he has shut up now.
  16. He aways looksso miserable. Is it genetically impossible for him to smile?
  17. So what was so bad in 1975 when you were born?? Was it the EEC referendum of that year? The Labour government under Harold Wilson? Or were you so upset when Saints beat Pompey that year (and the next year) ??
  18. He has been supporting us since 1981 you know. He is a real fan. Honest.
  19. Why did you choose Saints?
  20. That could be right - we scored 4 when Bazza couldn't tear himself away from here to watch.
  21. But bazza . You miss the point again. Saints fans like to watch their team. When they come on match of the day, they tend to watch them. They don't bother to add to their post tally whilst the tem they support is on tv. They normally wait for the Footbal lLeague show to start before they do that. When did you first start to support the Saints?
  22. No. Its called being a fan and going to matches home and away rather than watching it on teletext. Perhaps you could try it.
  23. I for one consider this season to be a success. It has seen us play some great football and I have enjoyed watching my team home and away. Your team on the other hand has struggled to stay in the Football League. I can see why you think there has been no success this season.
  24. The other evening hewas posting his normal negative tripe on hyere at the same time as MOTD was showing Southampton. If he is a sky fan, perhaps he had already seen the match. If he was a pompey fan he wouldn't have been watching Saints. My money is on him being a Pompey fan. Whatever it is, he is not a Saints fan.
