Are you sure that you have been paying attention???

Some people have weird priorities in what they consider to be "news". We get a letter each year from acquaintances which follows the same format. The 2 kids write their bit, he writes his bit and then the wife writes hers. A few years ago we learnt all about the dog's skin condition, the new tent that they had bought and the kid's swimming lessons before gettng to "Tina's bit " where she informed us that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and was undergoing extensive chemo - a little more important than Goldie's flea problem!!

The legal bills would put the total cost nearer to a nice round £300 million.

Virtually every profession has auditors and inspectors who check and report on standards. Nobody likes to be checked and the inspections are inevitably a time of stress for the auditee. They are also inevitable and "come with the job". In this instance it would appear from the remarks of the coroner that Ofsted performed this check in a shocking manner. As Hypo says, Ofsted need to demonstrate humanity and empathy and avoid an adverserial approach. Clearly this time they did not - with tragic consequences. To paraphrase the old Roman expression "who checks the Ofsted checkers?" Somebody clearly needs to.

Only a matter of time. 🤫

Presumably under this sort of legislation if Rishi was to announce that the sky is green and that grass is blue the courts would have to believe him.

At PMQ's today Starmer, after mentioning our 11 game unbeaten run, claimed that "in the words of the song Sunak gets battered everywhere he goes." 😁😁😁

You missed the classic "I got all the big decisions right."

Man U away at Wigan is bound to be on BBC.

Do you work for Costa?

"Baz's fan club"??? You are a strange supporter of Southampton.

Very sorry to hear that Whitey. As someone who has experienced similar grief I can assure you that things may be very different but a good life is very possible in the future.

Look pal, you lot have been on his back for months even years now. Every time he posts you jump on his post and give him abuse. You don't change his beliefs. You don't stop him posting. Despite all your outrage and foaming at the mouth he continues to post. Why? Because he likes the reaction he is getting from you. He laughs at how easy it is to wind you up. He probably regards this latest episode as one of his golden wind ups. He posts on Friday morning, this thread grows by a page and a half and you are still going on about it thr following Wednesday evening. You,pal, are so gullible. Why don't you and the other fuckers desist from commenting whenever he posts and stop giving him the attention that he craves?
-
Be careful. The mad fuckers get very twitchy, go through your posting history and get upset if you dare to suggest that SOG is winding them up. This one has been going on for nearly 6 days now and has got many bites from them. Definitely one of the better wind ups. 😁

You are correct. Wallace didn't score in that game. Perhaps he came close or perhaps it was another year. I will need to check.

Wasn't that the match when we were celebrating the club's centenary? Danny Wallace scored with a header! I went with an Everton supporting mate who couldn't believe that his wonderful Everton defence had allowed a 5 foot 4 inch midget to score with a header.
