I remember losing 1 nil to them at Ashton Gate in the late 60s. FA cup. One of the first matches that I went to. I was pretty awe struck and couldn't believe I was there.😁😁

Leeds also have to play Leicester - albeit not away.

Interesting stats that are well presented but you know what they say about lies and staistics. For example we have more wins against top 5 sides than Ipswich (theirs came against us in September when we were shit). We have as many wins against top 6 sides as Leeds. Choose your stats and pick your argument. Teams at the bottom, fighting relegation are not necessarily pushovers. Eg Good luck to Leeds and Ipswich if Huddersfield (fourth from bottom) play against them like they did yesterday. How many times in the past have Saints blown it against teams at the bottom? In the Adkins promotion years Rochdale did the double over us. In 1984 we would have been champions (goal difference permitting) if we hadn't lost at home to Notts County who finished bottom. If the situation was reversed and Leeds and ourselves had each others fixtures left I am sure that we would have Alex on here telling us that there were no easy games in this division and that Plymouth were world beaters. 😁

It is a bit frightening when the No. 2 in the Treasury does not know what Debt and GDP are.

This thread is brilliant to look back on. I am beginning to think that Kingsland Codger is onto something.

Chris Philp sums up whst is wrong with the modern day Tory party. His business career before he became an MP was full of dodgy dealings as highlighted by Private Eye. He was the first minister to claim that Liz Truss's Budget was well received by the financial world. Today he was skewered by several interviewers. Corrupt, stupid and incompetent. Sums up many Conservative MPs.

Update. It is now 11 posts in 3 hours.FFS get a grip.

Oh yes you are. 9 posts on this subject in the last 3 hours. Can't be arsed to count the number last night. You are obsessed by this subject. I want a PM who sorts out the economy. Who sorts out the Nhs. Who gets public services back to something resembling normality. He could declare the moon is made of cheese, that the world is flat and that all women are really just aliens from another planet. I want the important things in this country sorted out.

I would have bet £1,000 that he wouldn't have made such a mistake.

What if we put out a strong team aagainst Liverpool and beat them? Unlikely I know but no replay and penalties after 120 minutes even the odds a liitle in our favour. We are a confident team and I relish the challenge to see if we really are that good. Would that be good for our season and promotion hopes or would it scupper them? Would the confidence that we would gain from such a result smooth us through the Championship matches or would a cup run just be a huge distraction? I am undecided if we want a potentially memorable cup run? I guess that it depends on who we would draw in the 6th round. Man City (forgetting last season's Carabo cup) no thanks but yes please if it was just the winner of Coventry v Maidstone who stood between us and a Wembley semi final.

.... And Farage always always tells the truth and has never ever been found to have told the teeniest little fib. 😁😁😁

Liz's sidekick Kwasi standing down as an MP to presumably spend more time making money. For his sake I hope that he is more successful doing that than when he was when looking after the nation's money.

.... And your problem with equal rights is what exactly?

They are also the "form team" as they have won their last 5 games. They lost the 2 before then. We aren't the form team even though we have won 7 of our last 8. The Leeds Facebook page is full of fans who really believe that they are "by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen". 😁😁😁

Very sweet?? 😁😁😁😁

Is this another parody account?

Are we about to have our most difficult run of fixtures? If only you had told us. 😁😁😁 Who in particular are you scared of? Huddersfield at home hold few fears. Bristol City looked lethargic the other night against Leeds. WBA are inconsistent. They gave us problems at home but we have improved since then. 4 of the 5 games after WBA are then at Fortress St Mary's. We may not win all those games and our unbeaten run may even be ended but I don't think that we should be concerned about "tough" fixtures coming up.

And then consign yourselves to a decade in opposition. You are falling into a similar trap as William Hague and Michael Howard. People arent going to vote for Labour because the Tories are not right wing enough. You gammons need to take a hard look at yourselves and have a rethink if you think that Farage and Johnson are your way back to power. By the way Duckie. Do you still believe in Brexit? If so, I have some magic beans for sale. Guaranteed to make you rich. Very cheap. Are you interested?

Don't worry. He is still in the shop window if he wants to be employed this summer.

Blimey. The gammon are gettng really desperate now. Celebrate because JOB's listening figures are down to 1.3 million. Rejoice as GB news radio now have nearly 400,000 listeners. I think the gammon are in for a tough year - expecially when the General Election votes are counted. 😁😁😁
-
Don't worry about Leeds. We will win our games in hand snd go back above them. Ipswich are on their way down and we will be firmly established in 2nd place before the end of the season.

You are confusing profit with the sum that we received on his transfer. When he left we recieved our £17m profit plus our initial £10 - £15m transfer fee. ie In total when he was sold we picked up c £ 30 million.

A good friend of mine is a typical plastic Liverpool fan. Unlikely to ever get to the city let alone Anfield he completely buys into the Klopp legend. We had a little falling out at the time of our League cup 2 legged semi final. If you remember Nathan Redmond played a blinder in the first leg and Puell's tactics out thought Klopp's over the 2 legs. This definitely didn't fit the "legendary Klopp image" and having it pointed out was not what my friend could accept easily.
