  1. I see that Batman has started the season with his usual optimism. Mind you, he thinks we will score a goal so it is not too gloomy. 😁😁😁 (I hope he is wrong).
  2. I'll finish it for you One rule for the sensible posters , one rule for the dickwads.
  3. Lol at the latest announcement that the Government is going to "help manufacturers" (their words) by keeping the CE standard. It will doubtless infuriate the UKIP wing of the Conservative party but common sense sometimes wins over dogma.
  4. Thanks for the weather update. It's nice to know that you do have some use after all. I realise that you are the holiday Taliban and love to tell people what they can and cannot do on holiday. I make no apologies for coming on here to see what is happening during my team's most interesting transfer window for years. If you had a genuine interest in Saints I am sure that you would do likewise. I will be watching the match on Friday night. Is that OK with you???
  5. It's nothing to do with the media. The warning that Piggy came up with came from the Met Office. I appreciate that experts are nowadays often derided but I would prefer to follow their weather interpretation than his.
  6. You really are a plank aren't you. My 90 year old father lives alone in North Somerset. He would be "severely" affected by a loss of power or other services. I am not in the area ( or the country) atm so am unaware of the weather but this warning is useful to me. I will now check up on him later today to ensure that he is OK. Stop being a smart Alec prat.
  7. The Circle of Trust know but they are apparently sworn to secrecy.
  8. I can only dream of being a member of the circle of trust. Maybe one day ....
  9. Isn't it eye opening when our resident Brexit loony posts. It is amazing how some people are so deluded and eager to cling onto anything which apparently supports their views. I wonder if he really is as arrogant and as mad as the impression given from his posts. God help anybody who works for this madman in his poison selling business. .... Or perhaps this is just an act and he is not as deluded as he likes to make out.
  10. Interesting. Thanks for posting.
  11. Would you have come first if you had done Answer 1. Stevie Gerrard Answer 2 The Beatles etc etc
  12. Loads of good things today but the St Mary's crowd is going to have to be patient. There are going to be dissenting voices when the full back and centre back pass the ball to each other 4 or 5 times within 15 seconds with zero movement. A high back line will put pressure on the defence to avoid cock ups. The goalie is going to have to be good at sweeping. I hope this doesn't come over as too negative. The passing today was sublime. Around the 60th minute there was an amazing sequence of crisp, fast, first time passing which took the breath away. More of that and it should be a great season.
  13. The country is sick and tired of all those public services like hospitals and schools awash with cash. I am sure that tax cuts will overturn a Labour 20% lead in the polls. 😁😁😁😁
  14. Is Piggy drinking with you or is he sweeping the floor?? 😁😁
  15. I am quite happy with it. Please tell me... What would be a better one??
  16. So what sort of answer would you have liked?
  17. Well you did ask. Why bother asking if you try to belittle the answer?
  18. Weston Super Saint is not the sharpest tool in the box. Some people would say and have said that he is as thick as Pigshit.
  19. What??? You mean missing Piggy's pearls of wisdom? No way. If I put Batman on ignore how would I ever be aware of all those chicks with dicks and what the Twittersphere is saying? Life wouldn't be worth living. 😁😁😁
  20. To be honest I think you are all completely boring and seem to want to ruin every thread. 16 minutes to reply. Is that OK?
  21. So another exciting day starts on Saintsweb with Turkish given the honour of the opening salvo against Soggy. Turkish and the cunts versus Soggy threatens to last as long and be as attritional as Russia v Ukraine.
  22. What would you call it?
  23. Not just Europe. Over a third of Americans live in areas with significant heat warnings.
  24. Many referees had bad games when we played. Peter Walton is another one who springs to mind. However none of them were consistently as bad for us as the Chicken Strangler.
  25. Weatherly was the day's highest scorer - as indeed so were Hampshire. We looked the best team when batting and I have little doubt that without rain we would have beaten Essex. Having said that I was pleased that (once we had been knocked out) Somerset won. They had been the best team in the qualifying rounds whilst the singing of the Essex boys with its West Ham flavour ("You are only here for the Essex") became very tiresome.
