Me too. I let him off too lightly when he joined, gave him the benefit of the doubt and he abused that trust by playing crap against Lincoln and Brighton. What a wonderful thread this is. I reckon that we should have our own Manager of the Month competition. Get the fans to pick the manager each month and then sack them if they don't get this fantastic squad of players to win each match. The compo that we would be paying out would mean that we would have no transfer kitty to improve the squad but I am sure that there would be no end of potential managers queuing up.

It's interesting. According to Alexei's posts in the Russia thread, our forces would be overwhelmed by the Red Army in a couple of days if the Russians ever tried to invade. On the other hand, according to Alexei, our forces are shit hot at border control. Better than the full time border force. Clearly our country has got its priorities wrong. Get rid of the army and just let the soldiers protect our borders.

It's nice to know that the lazy forces can do something other than sitting around doing fuck all moaning that they don't have enough money. If we reduced their numbers by half we could afford proper public services.

At the risk of sounding like Duckie, the whole programme had an unhealthy slant towards women's sport / disabled spott. Matt Fitzpatrick winning the US Open got a very brief 5 second mention. The wheelchair Rugby League team got 5 minutes plus. God knows how they came up with the shortlist of 6 for the title of Sports Personality. Most of the shortlist could walk the streets of Southampton without being recognised by 95% plus of the population.
