  1. Ducky as ever proving how out of touch he is and that he lives in the 1950's. Nowadays there is nothing wrong in displaying a bit of emotion. Ralph showed in this moment what this team means to him and most fans applaud him for that.
  2. I never knew that Donald Trump was a Liverpool supporter.
  3. Just brilliant. Watching that caused the missus to turn to drink. Can't say that I blamed her. Matches like that are why we support the Saints and I think that Ralph feels the same way.

    Coronavirus

Far too sensible an idea for it to be implemented.
  5. The anti Nostradamus has spoken. If the success of GM's other predictions are anything to go on, I would expect Boris to be out of the job by next New Year. 😁😁
  6. Blair would have smashed her.
  7. Foot v Corbyn. Blimey its difficult to decide which one is more unelectable.
  8. ...and of course "the great lady" was always dodging from interviews and hiding in freezers to avoid scrutiny.

Come on, come on. Gav may be completely incompetent and top of the U turn league table but he is well behind Chris Grayling in incompetency.

    Good news
  11. Thinking that things were better in the "good old days" is a sign of getting old but the Doc in my opinion was much more preferable to the likes of Pep, Jose and Klopp. Humorous when interviewed and gracious in defeat he was a good manager in less demanding times. Sad to see him go.
  12. Talking of shagging. I wonder if Mark Francois will now reappear in the HofC.
  13. Is that the one who caught him shagging around - or was she the one he was shagging when his wife caught him ?

Thought that today he played well when he came on.

    Coronavirus

FFS lets face it, with the way that covid rates are rising with this new variant isnt it time for a full national lockdown? Forget about tiers. Forget about bubbles. Call it a circuitbreaker. Call it whatever you like but close down schools, close down all but essential shops close down everything for a few weeks. Keep vaccinations going and in a couple of months things will look a lot rosier.
  16. What about Trump? Or Deutsche Bank? Or about Italy? You are a joke weirdo but you are a true graduate of Pompey Poly . Shit for brains.

    Coronavirus

The sheer awfulness of this country 's handling of the pandemic is exemplified by very recent experiences of 2 family members. One has gone to Barbados. 3 days before leaving the UK they had to have a a negative Covid test. Results from this test had to be submitted online. On arrival they were strictly shepherded through the airport and went to an approved hotel (the number of the taxi in which they travelled even being recorded for possible future reference) where they were placed in quarantine. They then had a 2nd Covid test and were only allowed out of quarantine on a negative result. For the next 7 days they had to take their temperature twice a day and this was checked by a Government tracer but after then they were restriction free. Another family member returned on 18 December from Spain - one of the few countries with a worse Covid rate than the UK. They knew the rules and have self isolated for 10 days. No tracer has asked them to do this. Nobody has contacted them to check they are quaranting. No contact tracer seems to be aware that they exist. Barbados and the UK are vastly different in size and complexity. Being a small island with a fraction of the population of the UK gives them many advantages. But the UK has much greater resources and has spent over £22 billion on a track and trace system which does not seem to work effectively. The UK Covid death rate per 100,000 people is over 106. In Barbados it is 2.44. A top rate track and trace system, easy to understand does make a difference.
  18. One thing that is now true is that the Brexiteers have achieved what they wanted. They have the hard Brexit which even satisfies Farage. Apparently we now have to expect a few "bumps in the road". God knows how long and how extensive these will be. God knows what damage will be done to the British economy, the union and to personal rights and freedoms. If Brexit turns out to be a shitshow and the "bumps in the road" turn out to be huge potholes there can be no excuses from the Brexiteers. This isn't BRINO. This is what they wanted. Lets just hope that they own up to it when the time comes.
  19. Clearly if you run a tinpot company selling poison you find this sort of thing funny.
  20. That Nigel is a truly amazing bloke. The deal hasn't been formalised yet and runs to over 2,000 pages yet he says that it is ok. He may have been one of the Donald's cheerleaders but he must be a genius when it comes to reading 2,000 pages of legalese and working out all the implications. (The same can also be said about JPM's analysis).
  21. Although the Premier League are being so unfair to Liverpool with substitutes its nice to know that the greatest fans in the world (no not Pompey they are the bestest) are still able to watch the best team in the world. Now only them and Everton have that advantage. I am sure that Klippity will acknowledge the advantage that this gives them.
  22. No don't you realise? Anyone who disagres with Brexit is a traitor. Fuckwit Missile said so. He is never wrong. Deutsche Bank have gone bust and the EU has disintegrated - just as he said that they would.
  23. My thoughts exactly
  24. Nah. Controlling a couple of tons of horse power going at speeds of 30 plus mph several times a day is more onerous. 🙂 Tbh. I don't care who wins as long as it isn't Henderson!!
  25. I think there is more athletic prowess in horse racing than in sitting in a high speed car.
