  1. ... also we would have been part of the negotiations if we had still been in the EU. Adverse effects on London from any agreement could have been mitigated. As it turns out by leaving the EU we left the negotiations, nobody there would have cared about London's position and as a result the UK loses out.
  2. He wets himself with excitement at one aspect of the fight against Covid whilst conveniently forgetting that the UK has the worst Covid performance in the world.
  3. You were a lot funnier and not quite as thick when you posted as Heisenberg.

    Coronavirus

An article I read a few weeks ago pointed out that we had May and Johnson the wrong way round. He would have blustered his way through Brexit. May would have had the diligence and been more conscientious with Covid. Lets face it. She could have barely done a worse job than he has.

Exactly. In Barbados you now have to stay in quarantine for 5 days after entry in addition to having a negative test both before and after arrival. In the UK you have always been able to walk in from overseas. Although you were meant to isolate after arrival, our "world class" tracking system didnt bother to check for people that I know.

Nah. I prefer South Korea. Few cases there but more freedom.
  7. I won't knock his connection with his family and attention to his son but.... WHAT A WANKER!!
  8. Blimey. GM is right. Pritti's hair is bright blue!
  9. Covid cost just £300m ????? Do us a favour. I think somebody has had too much loopy juice.
  10. Duck speak is certainly a funny old language. Irish people are " Micks." Scottish people are "Sweaties". Anybody to the left of Genghis Khan is a "pinko". If Nicola Sturgeon is "Krankie" why is Johnson "Boris" ? Why isn't he "Fat Blond Liar" or FBL for short? 😁
  11. When a country borrows £270 billion in 9 months I think that it needs all the tax revenue that it can get.
  12. From the initial reports it seems that people are adapting. They are deciding to set up overseas - with the inevitable loss of jobs and tax revenues in this country.
  13. But don't forget. If people travel to their company's new EU offices to hand over job details, before they lose their own, they could well be travelling on blue passports.
  14. Not very good in Barbados. 8.15am kick off. I have never watched a Saints match before breakfast before.
  15. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/jan/23/cheshire-cheesemaker-says-business-left-with-250000-brexit-hole?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other Ah well. Some businesses will fail and this clever one is adapting just as the original village idiot said. A pity about the lost jobs in the UK and the tax revenue now going to the French government. As long as there is a cafe with a floor to sweep somewhere in Weston Super Mare the original village idiot will be OK.
  16. It makes you wonder why he posts. He comes on here copying the latest weirdo nonsense thar he has picked up. He then has everybody on ignore so he cannot see the reaction to his post. I wonder if he is suffering from syphilis.
  17. Blimey. The OP has some serious mental health issues. Trump's eviction from office has tipped him over the edge. Go easy on him.

Having a £1,000 per day charge out rate for each of their 900 consultants - I bet the Deloitte partners don't want the pandemic to end.
  19. GM is cracking one out over Boris these days now that Trump is a goner.
  20. I wonder who is in a bad mood because his poster boy is today on his last day in office. 😁
  21. This may all be true but the OP wants you to list his bad points. 😁
  22. The OP would claim that he has most people who have posted on this subject on "ignore". The precious petal gets upset if he has to read the opinions of people who don't agree with his madness. He probably believes that we agree with him that Trump was only to blame for "some " of the violence and that the biggest outrage was the death of the woman who had been at the head of the mob tying to lynch Pelosi and Pence.
  23. I don't suppose that you ever came across any of them at Pompey Poly.

Would only happen if the Government's mates could make a few bob for themselves.

... or the Government could just issue vouchers for shopping which would enable the recipients to buy food themselves. The vouchers could be for even less than £30, the recipients could get more food than they are currently getting and the Government would save money. The only problem then is that the Government's mates don't get their snouts in the trough.
