  1. Wrong thread
  2. Anyone who reads Billy Shite's match reports will know how Mike Dean saw that kick in the face: "Soft Southern Bastard. He shouldn't be on the pitch if he can't take a boot in the face." The Arsenal player was lucky to escape a booking from Dean for simulation.

We may need to expand St Marys to accommodate the JCL's.

Alex's post was so ridiculous that the only posters on this forum who would have posted it are Alex, Batman and Delldays. What a coincidence.
  5. "What is wrong with America"?. A helluva lot in my opinion. Thank goodness for example that we don't have a similar gun culture. However lets not get too smug. Our own country is not much better. Has Biden ever rambled on about a cartoon pig when addressing business leaders? Some Americans may not want to interfere with the "breathing system that God gave them" but we have a substantial part of the governing party defying scientific opinion by refusing to wear masks. We have a leader of the House of Commons who thinks that you cannot catch Covid from frienda. America may well be a basket case but we are not a million miles away.
  6. The pies and sausage rolls from the concoirse aren't bad at all.
  7. Hey Mr Shit for Brains. Any news on the Deutsche Bank liquidation process?

An interesting post for my family. Apparently my paternal great grandfather ( minor town council official) ended up sending my other great grandfather to jail because he wouldn't get his baby, my grandfather, vaccinted against smallpox. His protest apparently was against the vaccination process ( dirty blades used) rather than the vaccination itself. A load of bollux I say. Just get vaccinated.
  9. It is undoubtedly a problem with no easy answer. Patel however should stop pretending that there is one. Her repeated ineffective claims that she is going to get tough on the boats may be designed to woo Tory party members but make her look lightweight and naive.
  10. I just love Jamie's / Alex's / Batman's relentless negativity about Southampton - both the city ("shithole") and football team ("relegation certainties before each season starts"). Its a bit of an identity giveaway.

Did the UK test any passengers when they arrived from South Africa?
  12. Not only did he send the letter but he made it public!! Megaphone diplomacy.
  13. Family man???? His kids must have great fun and interaction with him in those few moments of the day when he is not watching US trials or posting bollox on here. A fine example of someone getting their priorities in life wrong.
  14. Interesting. That's a good one that I have considered and haven't completely discounted.
  15. I am beginning to think that sad hypo did spend 4 days watching the trial. He must have spent the greater part of the evening typing on this thread.
  16. You would really have thought that a section of the British media would have reported on these dramatic events. Its probably BBC bias.
  17. Wow. 4 days watching the trial. You must lead an interesting life.
  18. I did Fulham last week so can't do them again. Arsenal look good but will Newcastle get a new manager bounce? I am tempted by Ipswich in League 1.
  19. Everyone could choose Liverpool if they wanted. A few weeks ago 14 went out when Chelsea drew.
  20. I take part in a Last Man Standing competition in a local pub. Each week you have to choose a team to win that weekend from the top 4 divisions. You can only choose a team once. If your team doesn't win, you are out and the prize goes to the last person left in. I normally get knocked out early in each round l but I am in the last 6 of the current round. Over 40 people entered and the prize money is over £200 plus a lot of kudos. I need a team to win this weekend and unlike previous weeks I see no obvious winner ..... apart from Liverpool. My dilemma is whether I should plump for them and in effect back againdt Saints. A couple of weeks ago I went against my better instincts and chose Pompey to win in the first round of the FA cup. They scraped home 1 nil against non league opposition. My head overcame my heart that time. This time my head says to choose Liverpool but my heart says that I cannot. I think my heart is going to win. Am I correct?
  21. Quoting a Conservative MP " I think today's performance was the most embarrassing by a Conservative Prime Minister since last week's PMQs." When will they just put the bumbling fool out of his misery?
  22. That's easy. First find Brett from Camden. Add Delldays and Batman. Then find Jamie the burger flipper from the Navy and you have nearly half the jury thinking like Alex Law.
  23. A couple of points: He has improved our defence considerably but Salisu is a long way from being the world classs defender some people think. Whilst not exonerating McCarthy , Salisu could have been much tighter on Pukki for the first goal. His distribution is also rather erratic. Against Villa he twice needlessly put McCarthy under pressure by passing short and again today he seemed to be the weak link when the defence was passing amongst themselves. When was the last time that we conceded from a corner? I may be wrong, but I thought it was some time ago.
  24. He was being employed by them at a cost of £250k pa to write a weekly column after he resigned as Foreign Secretary. Yes £5k a column!! His columns only stopped when he became PM. I think I would have preferred to have read a column written by Rallyboy!
  25. It wouldn't surprise me if Johnson steps down from office in the next few months before more damage is done to "Brand Boris. " His money problems are well documented. These could be solved however once his days at No 10 are over by following the likes of Blair and Cameron onto the lecture circuit . He would also have his "journalism" to fall back on. Who. on the otherhand would want to listen to a PM widely regarded as an incompetent fool? Would the Telegraph want him to write for them at £250k a year if he is a busted flush? if he quits now he still has his supporters amongst the Tory faithful. If he hangs on too long even the Tory blue rinse brigade will not be interested in what he has to say.
