LOL! I agree... scarred for life me!

I was chuffed for dirty Leeds - they are far better than us to be fair. The performance yesterday was Premier League standard IMHO. I dont think they are PL standard, yesterday was a one off, but I think we should find some inspiration in it for next season assuming we miss the play-offs.

Brilliant game to watch - havent cheered so much for another team for ages. Well done Dirty Leeds!!!
-
I think we should give Stern a round of applause for saving us in the CCC for a season. Pathetic response from any Saints fan to boo him IMHO. We should have the confidence of a team on the rise to clap our past heroes.

FIGHT John. Fight it and win like you always have.

I am saying that if I could find a replacement I would replace an inconsistent young player for a decent man anytime. Who wouldnt?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2005/may/16/newsstory.sport5 Roy Keane enjoying sending us down as Captain of Man Utd. Read it if you werent there. Enjoy beating Ipswich everyone. Big crowd turn out to let Keano know exactly what we think of him would be nice. Your team needs you for this one.

Being 19 is a good point. Worth making him a bench player who fights for a place?

Any real benefit in shutting the chapel?
SaintRobbie replied to ooohTerryHurlock's topic in The Saints
I think if you're going to close anywhere then close the Chapel/Itchen South corner. I still can't understand why we closed the Itchen North when it was rocking and hemming in the away fans. It was creating a 12th man FFS with the Northam Alliance in place!! -
Interesting analogy it's a bit like saying what would you rather stand in - 'dog poo or a newly laid cowpat?'
-
I agree. He is too inconsistent. I would ship him out with James in January if I could guarantee a better replacement.

Blimey. When are we going to see the full breakdown of the problem I wonder? Everyone knows the Club is in dire straits but not to what extent. I'd be worried if I was a Pompay fan, at least with us we advertised the club was available as soon as our Barclays Bank saviour pulled the plug on Lowe's plc. Pompey are not actively looking for buyers from what I can see (or being avoided like the plague), and those that have emerged are skint; the poorest Arabs on the Earth. I think Pompey's predicament may be far worse than ours was, even under the Dark Lord.

No chance! They almost scored at the end... and they had to come back from being 0-1 down! Sorry... they would desperately have wanted to win that.
-
...or Preston are posturing for a better price?
-
Correct, that was rain-based not frost.
-
... or we could buy another decent player?

SaintRobbie replied to Amesbury Saint's topic in The Saints

-
Not sure it was that calculated!

5 wins on the bounce at home... back of the net! Ugly wins or good ones are irrelevant... wins...! Agree though, we need to keep financing Pards to success, we still need 4-5 players.

Concur. Not a good idea, I suspect the poor fishytypes will be looking for blood by then.

3-1 Business resumed as usual!
