Why start with 4-4-2 when we've won every game - and should have won yesterday but for finishing - by playing 4-5-1 and switching? I'd go with Pardew's selection. Playing 4-5-1 is giving us a rehearsed second option and getting results. Daft to knee jerk and change it, we need a couple of playing options to mix it up a little. We clearly can play 4-4-2, so lets keep working on Plan A - it's getting results.

We need to continue doing what we're doing and master 4-5-1 so that we have a couple of systems up our sleeve. To be fair we should have been 2 or 3 goals up playing 4-5-1.

We're playing 4-4-2 now and equalising so Prof has a point... but we should have been 3 or 4 up but for unlucky finishing. Pardew switiches and we do well. We need to allow Pardew to master a couple of systems. I am impressed frankly.

Saints are making loads of chances. One of those days, nothing wrong with the system, just unlucky finishing.
