  1. Not as much as Lowe has cost us in terms of his personal takings and has cost us in terms of treasure AND pride through 2 relegations. Fact.
  2. Exactly how could it get worse? LOL.
  3. Agreed. The club needs to be careful. We all know that a takeover is just around the corner (no matter how much brinkmanship appears to be being used). I think most of us want to put our support firmly behind the new owners. IF they take over before this game I sense a big turnout of celebration. If not, most people will keep their £20 in their pockets. Afterall its half the price of a new shirt for next season. Irony really. The Club need to realise that we're still punchdrunk as fans for all the daft comments on a similar vien attacking the fans that Wotte made a number of weeks ago on behalf of his boss and good friend Mr Lowe. I think Mr Wotte is still here. Credibility on this sort of line from the OS is wearing thin, even though Lowe has long since left.
  4. Although as Stanley graphically pointed out a couple of weeks ago, the problems at W H Ireland appear to have started when Lowe actually turned his attention back towards that business, creating boardroom friction and a massive share price drop. Still I am sure the denyers on here will find another excuse...
  5. We're all still waiting for an answer to my question 19. Come on - tell us in your opinion who has done the most for this Club Lowe or Lawrie?
  6. ... around £3million. Value for money? Come on the denyers...
  7. (not including expenses)
  8. I suppose you do that when you are a shareholder anyway. Lowe received far more in share dividends over the years than he did last year in wages. But, lets just all smile in satisfaction at the fact he's lost as much in his shareholding now its worth nothing.
  9. Yes its not much money for his responsibility to be honest. But he's cost us Millions as a result of his inept policies and arrogance. Whatever happened before only one man was responsible for totally crap Dutch football with kids whilst paying and sidelining experienced professionals. We are down due to one man. The same man who led us into the CCC. Still... bring on the denyers.
  10. .... or more importantly who the manager will be.
  11. I want to know how much Wotte was on this year, if Lowe was on £100K and Portaloo £60K, I would seriously like to know how much Lowe valued him at.
  12. Can you get facebook internet access from caravans now?
  13. He can only do that if he brings us success. So its a win-win is it not?
  14. Interesting perspective that.
  15. I spotted that fact a couple of days ago too and it worries me given our current set up. God I hope Fry gets this club sold quickly and we get funding and a decent manager in soon.
  16. OK - so Fry ousted Lowe before Lowe could do any more damage ?- good on Fry if true!
  17. Nice castle though.
  18. FF. Duncan - you may know the answer to the question as I assume you have had to research through confidentiality clauses in an attempt to put the odd historical account together. Anticipating a few juicey stories for a forthcoming book by chance?
  19. Havent got a clue what you're on about Nick.
  20. who ...by MK Dons when we thrash them?
  21. Sorry typo I meant Ipswich... slightly less fingers on each hand per supporter.
  22. Not what I said at all Nick. I acknowledged Lawrie may have contributed as you suggest to the downfall, but that he took the right side. Not 100% squeaky clean is Lawrie, but certainly scores a higher point for judgement than the opposition.
  23. I certainly don't. Not if credibility has anything to do with this bidding war.
  24. Very good point. The managerial selection is the most obvious statement of intent of any new owner. Picking Ince for me says we want to get to the Premiership. The only other manager with the desire and skill for me has just gone to Norwich and to be honest Keano would probably have not been as popular as Ince may be.
  25. Agreed. Although resisting Lowe does not go down in my book as someone who was part of our sad decline. There may be other things he did or didnt do during that time but he certainly took the right side in that battle, hence the reason he IS now able to gain brownie points for organising such things now. When it changes to a 'Meet the new owners' celebration we'll see more than 4000 there!
