Correct. A minority will have alot of egg on face as these revelations come out. This will go on for sometime. Fact is, Lowe will sell newspapers - we shall read an awful lot. Nothing anyone can do about it other than... well... if possible, enjoy!

Telegraph article re Council buying the club
SaintRobbie replied to wimbornesaint's topic in The Saints
I think some of you are missing the point. There is more to Saints surviving than just bailing out a business it is also about the morale of the City during potentially dark economic times. Council would indeed be right to contemplate buying SMS to keep the Club going. -
How much was Wotte on?
-
Was sort of expecting afew truths to surface - which is why I posted th thread on confidentiality clauses. Whilst Ponty is right - it IS time to look forward - I expect we'll see many many more accusations and examples of Lowe's incompetence emerging. This is the start of many revelations. Frankly, if we learn from them, I look forward to reading them.

Does anyone know whether the Confidentiality Clauses signed by the plethora of managers and players Lowe employed over the years are still valid now that SLH plc is dead and Lowe has been removed? Might we hear some interesting stories now about the Low[e] Years?

Schneiderlin - Saints Biggest Waste of Cash Ever?
SaintRobbie replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
The other problem with his youth policy is that ALL of our nippas are now probably worth much less as a result of it. -
Potentially this was quite a clever mind game by Forest. If you think about it, had this game meant anything (which it did a couple of weeks ago when Lowe was likely to have been invited), it would have seriously played upon the fans ability to curse him or get behind the team. Having Lowe there would have potentially cost us our place in the CCC as his presence would have upset all who attended and given Forest the edge in what should have been a relegation decider. And Lowe accepted the invitation. Bit like the timing of the Donny Train Picture really and our subsequent panning by them. Well timed - even if not by design - mind game.

MLT on SSN confirmation of Consortium involvment

Sweet if true. ...I like it. -
84% want Wotte out on his arse. No surprises there.

Poll? Should the club reemploy Woggy as Kit man? Yes - he is part of the renewed Spirit of Southampton No

MLT on SSN confirmation of Consortium involvment
SaintRobbie replied to Griffo's topic in The Saints
There's 2 pieces of good news if MLT is giving his name in whatever capacity to this takeover: 1. He believes it to be the best deal with the best people available. It is likely he has better insider info on offers than we all do. 2. Lowe is not involved - even indirectly. Gotta be good. -
No - I tell you why I think thats wrong - Club policy. JP is a better coach but was not permitted to select experienced players - Wotte was. Simple really. The two were simply not given the same playing field (parden the pun).

Woggy and spirit of southampton... Priceless.

Nice thread this Baj. Good on the nippa!

Superb summary. Well said.

Yes but Lowe's attendance is inflamatory given the passions associated with the legacy that Lowe created. We'll not get over Lowe for a couple of years and always refer back to him. Indeed, I suggest his name will form a new verb in the Sotonian dictionary: 'To Lowe'. Vb. to destroy something once loved and great for personal reasons or through incompetence.

LOL! I think thats to do with the better quality real shirts the players now have rather than Ruperts cheapo Saintswear replicas. Great thread this is!
