I think once we get the new owners we'll sell more STs for next season than we did under Lowe this season. In fact I would bet on it.
-
I dont mind. Frankly it doesnt matter anymore. Until we get a new manager, it'll be same old ****e. Looking forward to singing and supporting the Club tomorrow, my team have all but given up under their manager.
-
We will lose. Motivation is not there from the manager, the players seemingly dont care and are overwhelmed at home during big matches. Its a no brainer. The chances of a win are zero. I am going to support my Club not my crap team of unmotivated kids.
-
Yep - spot on.

So Will The Club Just Be wound Up If No Buyer Is Found????

We will be sold very shortly. -
Yes. I really am not worried. Honestly everyone who is flapping that the club wont exist in a couple of weeks are panicking when its is simply not necessary. People have been wanting to buy this club for years. The the foolish thing we ever did was refusing to sell it last summer - we will pay for allowing Lowe back with relegation.
-
As I say, it reads like SLH plc last May. Wonder what happened to SLH plc? But it does illustrate that a split boardroom involving Rupert Lowe has undermined confidence in the company and has resulted in a massive drop in the share price. Rupert does it again. The man is a failure.
-
HAve to say I agree with that. Crouch is at least a fan who cares but I am looking forward to a new owner calling the shots with an untarnished reputation.
-
We will always play at SMS. There I said it. Someone else may own it like the council, but who cares? Might be worth doing that to raise some more capital to support team reconstruction and promotion. I dont care if we own SMS, but I am pretty sure we'll play in it.

Lowe causes division EVERYWHERE! So the directors are removed as they dont support Lowe who is relected onto the board. Shares collapse and Lowe resumes his seat. Wonder where this company is going.... W H Ireland RIP. Lowe has a super impact. Would you take him onto your board?
-
It's like reading SLH plc statements in May last year.
-
No he means that by a mere coincidence W H Irelands share price plummetted at the same time Lowe was exposed as a ****e director by Barclays. oh... call me someone who ignores coincidences if you like... but I think not Jonah.
-
No -its true Jonah. Sorry but business works on confidence and if ever there was a blatant example of share movement over time due to confidence in a director then Stanley has demonstrated very graphically why there is not confidence in Lowe. It isnt drivel it is a fact. I dont have the time or inclination to discuss bears, stags and bulls in share trading with you, but trust me, if a guy is regarded as being rubbish people sell their shares at a lower price. Hey presto! Guess what happened in late March to WH Ireland!?

Anyone staying away because of Wotte and the impact he's having on the team out of interest? -

Yep has to join the list!

I think ANYONE who wants the architect of Lowe's plan this year to stay is barking mad. Sorry - the man is a fraud, disunites the fans, is regarded as a ***** in the dressing room, is Lowe's man not the new owners, was behind total football with kids, has demonstrated that he cannot motivate a team to any form of success and will have taken us down regardless of the FA points deduction. Add the fact that there are a dozen or so unemployed better British managers who understand the Leagues 1 and CCC and the teams within it, who have heart and passion, and unlike Wotte who has only ever relegated sides (including his Dutch one) and is thus a proven failure (like his previous master) then I think we close even further on the no-brainer decision to get the Dutch **** out of this club for good. Wotte was behind the whole of this season. He has killed the club... and a handful want to keep him on?! LOL.
-
No. It shows that despite the overdraft mismanagement (and Crouch will never be in a similar position again at this Club) Lowe's gross neglegence on decisions made before he relegated us last time and especially the decisions HE made in the summer (sentencing us to relegation once more) were gross neglegence. Confidence in WH Ireland has NOTHING to do with Saints, it is purely Lowe's exposure as being an incompetent decision-maker that has thus led to a separate business that Lowe runs having a lot of money erased from its share price. The market recognises failures and incompetent managers. And the market punishes through lack of confidence in such people. The timing makes it clear that this occured once the Bank exposed Lowe as being a useless financial manager and pulled the plug. Lowe's reputation in business is ... well almost destroyed, hence his blame-everyone-else strategy since December. The one you're guilty of falling for Jonah.

The few players that HAVE put in enough effort

If it came down to limited finances I would certainly keep what we had and spend every penny we had on replacements for those who have to leave and most of all on a MANAGER. I agree that a decent manager may turn the defeated kids around. Still prefer a full clear out though. Soon as possible! -
League deduct 10 Points - Will apply in L1 Next Season
SaintRobbie replied to Danny's topic in The Saints
I think that's true. 12 years of Lowe, 2 of the others. -
Good news. I hope this is right, but if this is the case one lesson from the last regime's farce must be taken: ONE LEADER. ONE MAN WITH VISION MUST NOW LEAD THIS CLUB. ONE MAN WITH A PASSION FOR SUCCESS. ONE MAN WHO CAN ATTRACT IN THE BEST MANAGER AVAILABLE FOR THE LONGEST CONTRACT WE CAN GET HIM ON. The rest? SUPPORT. No power struggles. UNITY.

The only players in the team who deserve to wear red and white next season for me are: KD Perry Size (as a sub) Gillett DMG... rescued his reputation at the end. Maybe Holmes and James as a bench player. The rest? Cheerio. Saga, Skacel, Surman I'm love to keep in League 1 but no chance, they're off and prostituting themselves already. The Coach Wotte... must never grace SMS again.
