  1. I think the fans who stayed away should take some responsibility for finally ridding the club of a cancer and allowing us to rebuild free of a plc to feed, appalling divided boardroom and renewed hope for the future. So in terms of the big picture. Fans who stayed away due to Lowe will have done much more good than harm to the club. Bring on the new owners!!! This is NOT the fans fault. Purely the boardroom led utlimately by Lowe.
  2. I'd rather hear nothing from Lowe or Wilde ever again if I'm honest.
  3. Brilliant!
  4. No its the guy who plays up fromt for Everton with a tash.
  5. We're gonna win 6-5... We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun But the joy didnt last when Guy Askham sold too fast Cheer up Rupert Lowe Barclays made you go but we're on our way back up now without your red face that glows
  6. That has to be correct. Be nice if we're not alone in this battle too.
  7. I agree. WE MUST PACK THE GROUND. Support the Saints. Wotte is a useless manager, the team almost all need to be sold and a new one in to replace them but LG3C is right. We need to support our Club... get the new owners to see the potential! See you on Saturday!
  8. Agreed. But I think we're punchdrunk after a succession of poor chairman decisions.
  9. Good point. Definately the driving force of Wise's success. I'd say GP was a great call.
  10. Rupert Lowe.
  11. I hope you're right. But money talks.

    Wotte OUT

    lol.
  13. Manager.
  14. Can we take the 10 points now?
  15. I am afraid to say I have to grudgingly agree with this.
  16. Why not, Lowe almost took over the role of manager once before. Absolutely legit.
  17. Thats absolutely correct. But, unusual in footballing terms for a bank to pull the plug at the first opportunity regardless. Sorry, but Barclay's are the reason for administration. But the opportunity now to rebuild without the incompetence of the old plc boardroom is simply magical. We will be bought out. Lets just keep selling this Club by turning up and showing how many fans we have even in the bad times. There are many buyers out there... always was. We are still the biggest club on the South coast. You know what feels really good? Buying a ticket for Saturday for Southampton Football Club and not Southampton Leisure Holdings plc.
  18. We need a big centre back and a keeper IF KD goes. Start from the back and work forward.

    Wotte OUT

Out of interest who would sack Wotte this week? Mr Fry?
  20. You seem to forget the 35 plus applications (x3 'serious') to buy SFC. We'll be ok.
  21. Well, Kelvin isnt a great keeper IMHO and he knows it. He also has never had such hero status. At Sunderland he was ridiculed and also under GB lost his confidence further. He now has status and respect and the Captain's armband. I also think that any new manager knows he will have to rebuild a team FROM THE BACK. That starts with Davis and his retention as the priority for ANY new manager. I think Kelvin genuinely is enjoying playing at Southampton. I think he has developed a love for the Club. Whats more I chat to him when he leaves and gauge his opinion. Over the years, I have honestly seen him swell into a decent, confident man, at Saints and I believe he GENUINELY wants to stay. I think he'd be happy in League 1 next season righting a wrong and pushing for promotion under a new manager. He'll have to move on thereafter if we fail to promote, but I would not rush into waving KD off yet. He's a bit like Crouch... made in Southampton. But unlike Crouch Liverpool arent going to come knocking. New manager, new owners with money and ambition and a new spirit amongst the fans now developing (regardless of the demoralised and poorly led and uninspired by Wotte outfield players)... I think KD simply loves the Club that's turned him into a confident keeper. So let's work to keep him... he's a confidence player is Kelvin. Our best player.
  22. No worries. I stopped being amazed 14 months ago, when we failed to get off our arses and push for a buyer. That was when the writing was on the wall.
  23. But can keep attendances and pride high. To be honest I liked the idea of giving Chris Marsden the job for the last 2 games... same pride result and preserves MLT and Franny's legend status!

    Wotte OUT

That is the optimal situation IMHO. I agree.
  25. Sums it up nicely and succinctly.
