  1. Crouch provides at least some hope. Lowe/Wilde = none. Frankly anyone who doesnt support him now must be barking.
  2. I think that's a little unfair Steve. We know there has been a 'Club policy' with regards to selection of players - we have been told this by several of them! I do agree with you that it is unlikely Lowe was picking the team last night from his skiing holiday (where he is currently hiding and failing to provide any hands on leadership during the biggest crisis in Saints history - possibly a good thing mind) . However, there HAS been a clear policy to play kids and marginalise the more experienced - better and more expensive - players into leaving the club. Euell and Skacel have said as much. I think the comment on here reflects concern that Wotte is still reflecting that policy Steve. I think up until the last 25 mins last night - he was, x4 older players in the side isnt enough - we need a minimum of 9 or 10 with kids fighting for one place or on the bench at best if we want to survive. WE HAVE TO STOP THIS CLOGGY KID PLAYING NONSENSE. GET CROUCH IN NOW OR WE DIE.
  3. Leon - aim higher than local businessmen and the Echo my frind. This is a good start, youre in tune with the team needs, fans and Club's survival needs. You need to go national on this and ask for a buyer. Go and sell this club. Tell it as it is in the International and national media. Thank you - for your support and help.
  4. 'I thought mine was a good proposal – it would have enabled us to get rid of our overdraft and give ourselves a fighting chance of bringing in some experienced players and an experienced English manager. ' Exactly what I have been calling for him to do. The only way of survival. If Lowe and Wilde are not prepared to accept this what are their real plans?
  5. He must start...and get rasiak back.
  6. Time to bring them back and get a manager. Timing for a new manager is perfect. Euell and Sagga will be hungry now.
  7. It's kids isnt it?!
  8. So he's just put on Sagga... our last goal scorer and match fit man? Oh.
  9. What's the team then?
  10. Its desire, tactics and leadership. We have skills and potentially the talent (most on loan). So if we can sack Wotte and every other cloggy at the club, put in Crouch as chairman, get a passionate English manager and our loanees back there's time. My prediction is Crouch will be in by Saturday due to the protest.
  11. can someone give a commentary - I am depressed reading my own negative posts let alone everyone elses.
  12. My thoughts exactly. But lets get Crouch in first!
  13. Sounds like its young Dutch led crap team less men versus battling from relegation determined side. Oh dear. Hope it remains a protest and not a riot on Saturday.
  14. Oh dear - just in... No surprises, happy I didnt go now... but close to tears. Why did Wotte-the****isgoingon drop Sagga?
  15. Not read that blog before... pretty damning of Lowe's policies towards the senior players IMHO. Sums it up nicely by saying football is a 'business not a sport' at this Club.
  16. JP, 'You honestly £20 is going to keep me quiet? Are you mad?'
  17. clickh...clickh.......BOOOM!
  18. So he is a stooge then. Won't be here for much longer methinks.
  19. This is a VERY positive start. But must be looked at as only an interim step. Crouch's desire for success coupled with a CEO in Lowe's place could steady the ship and cement fan support for the forthcoming relegation battle. But - Crouch needs a fighting British manager now who can attract in some men to add some spine to the team. So he has to bring in a new man. (When one adds Wottes comments on Monday to this there is no way Wotte can be allowed (or will be allowed) to continue.) Crouch will need to recall at least Dyer and Rasiak...possibly John... to give us some goal-scoring options in midfield and upfront. IF he can do that we're in for a good chance of survival. Then comes the long term strategy. That must involve Crouch finding a buyer for this club in order to take us up to mid-table next season and the Premiership the next. We have to remove the plc and all of the shareholders forever - as a system of running this club it has been proven to fail. If we can end up with a club saved by Crouch this season, a strong owner next and the back of the plc and shareholders for good... we will rise again.
  20. A No... because I hope the new owner and Chairman will want to make their own appointment rather than have a Lowe-dite.
  21. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4075072.Le_Tissier_urges_Saints_fans_to_unite_behind_team/ http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4073677.Le_Tissier_surprised_by_Wotte_appointment/ Compare and contrast the tone. Anyone smell a fishy?
  22. TOTALLY different tone from MLT from all of the comments he has made on SSN for the past 2 weeks. He's right to say get behind the team... but those comments dont reflect what he's been saying. Fans will ignore this plea anyway. As soon as we lose the next game we'll be back on track with regards to protests et al. I'm afraid the bubble has already burst.
  23. I think we have no choice. We MUST support the team until it's all over... which will be in late March under Wotte. Ponty - we HAVE to get behind the team on match days. AND we have to protest hard for Lowe et al's removal up until 1 minute before kick off and for a couple of hours after the ful time whistle.
