This. Vast majority are forgetting that we played 2/3 of this match with an extra player. And still managed fuck all. I’m struggling to see how so many are seeing a positive from that statistic.

You’re absolutely right. Not scoring against 10 men for 60 minutes is an extremely positive start to a PL season. Unfortunately, most teams will have 11 for the whole game. We were nailed on for relegation before a ball was kicked and guess what, we still are. No amount of pretty passing will change that.

Like most of our games this season against anyone half decent, this could be absolutely anything. I’d take not being embarrassed considering the state of our team.
