A very good 'nuisance' player but shouldn't start. He is a level below what we are trying to achieve with the team. I have seen that chasing down role played by Guly too.

How big is our scouting network? Does well does it cover the UK? Holland? Switzerland? Italy? Spain? France? Japan?

If the chairman is choosing the manager, he'll do so with his managerial style in mind. The rapid hiring and firing of managers mean they get very little time or money to help build a squad and inherit any deficiencies or problems that caused his predecessor to fail. Is the best solution for NA and NC to how the team is doing and what needs to improve, the best way to do that and then buy a player to fulfil that role. It is clear that Gaston was a NC signing as well as Boruc, Guly and Papa Waigo. It looks like Fort and Sharp were definitely a NA signings. As long as he allows the manager freedom to do his role, isn't it best that the chairman is active in player transfers ?

Lambert represents everything positive this club has done over the last couple of seasons. He is the rebirth of our team and is the reason we have Gaston and a few extra thousand in attendance every week. He is our team's confidence and talisman, without him and Lallana I wouldn't recognise this Saints team. He is an important part of our history and club. Rickie Lambert is 31 in feb. We won't become a top side overnight so he has still a job to and is currently above Tevez, Rooney, Carzola, Mata and level with Aguero in the goal charts.

Everyone gets nervous. Those early displays are still in the minds of the players and the crowd. We get nervy and it makes them nervy.

Fonte is punching above his weight at the moment. I think we need to bring in some real premiership quality at CB and GK and so we don't start next season like we did this or even worse, last.

--Boruc-- Richardson-Jos-Seabourne-Fox Chaplow-Guly-Hammond-Dickson --Barnard-Sharp-- That's a mid table Championship side. Some players would make good cover so not a real scrap pile.

I'd like to see standing back, I'm 6'2" and the seats are not good for my legs. It would also stop people writing around in their seats for near misses.

I would love Kjaer at the club, would fit in perfectly. UK based players are so over priced.
