  1. Very much this, well summed up
  2. The guy's a frigging idiot, suggest cameos once a month for 1 day only then f**k of again.
  3. Well today ended up as an afternoon pub session with the neighbour, once we'd cleared the drive (2 hours of manual labour) we'd thought we'd earned a pint. His lodger came with us(for good measure), got to the pub circa 16:00 to find it pack to the rafters and a xmas eve feel to it all. Got right royally eggnogged, nothing like a bit of adversity for the British public to curtail it into an excuse for a good ole p1ss up. Goodnight xx
  4. Nay problemo Verbal, I always find it a tough one trying to get over tone and expression on a message board
  5. I was being ironic/sarcastic but very well summed up, Auntie would not have even gone there if they thought they'd get a pasting in the courts
  6. The BBC made it all up for a cheap TV ratings hit. Anyway nearly as many people worldwide will watch a British wedding next year than the world cup and we won't have to pay a governing body extortiante monies to host it - woohoo!!
  7. And that we did but 1. we won on the moral standpoint exposing the dodgy bunch of old boys network 2. Russia probably did what we used to do (behind the scenes) 3. we DO still have an air of greatness that is linked to the past (your comments alude to that) and it's only natural coz we use to be epic, alas no more, we now have a conscious/prolific investigative press that is not state owned, give me that above a world cup ps I love the word guff, not used enough if you ask me
  8. Dam right, we've had our day, now time for the rest to have a pop. We so have the 'we're the still the best' Victorian hangover to get to grips with.
  9. New world order peoples, FIFA just like the FIA want to break into to new emerging markets and these markets are gonna pay handsomely for the priviledge. Tradition counts for sweet FA when it comes to cold hard cash which is all that this (and most other things) boil down to. Russia is going to be a thorn in FIFA side when they have to deal with all the potential racists when the African nations come to town. It aint going to be pretty. Sad but true!!!!!
  10. Remember them being the must have for all the fashion wrongun's at school back in the day http://www.rabanser.com/es/dinamic.asp?content=articoli&lista=marche&Lingua=eng&Chiave=Tecnica_Moon-Boots

  12. Thai is food from the gods, even better than pot noodles. The King and I is my fav thai place, haven't been for a while but they even put on some thai dancing last time I was there.
  13. When in Melbourne on travels I left my wallet on the train with my last $100 to my name, I almost didn't bother going to lost property thinking it gone for good but low and behold it was handed in with nowt missing, my view on mankind increased ten fold.
  14. funniest and most meaningful input of the evening
  15. The enemy is upon me, keep you're friends close but your enemies closer - I'm so confused
  16. I had my first Pot Noodle in about 20 years today, just saw one, felt the urge, succumbed and rather enjoyed it. I'm now purging myself of the processed muck by drinking pints of a brand new batch of homebrew, first for a year. Tomorrow's throne visit will be interesting
  17. Must.........avoid........his..........gay........ray
  18. What big organisation isn't a big corrupt old boys network. Expose the buggers I say, we're pretty good at it and it'll even make us or break us
  19. At the moment my most least favourite hated poster is Deppo because he makes me want to become gay and I'm not ready for that yet
  20. "Subbuteo" name is derived from the neo-Latin scientific name Falco subbuteo (a bird of prey commonly known as the Eurasian hobby), after a trademark was not granted to its creator Peter Adolph (1916–1994) to call the game "Hobby" I know most of you know that but it's my most favourite random factomondo
  21. Mandate is the best
  22. Tenerife is booked for a week 19th Nov. thanks for all your input unless the weathers pooh then I'll be back for a b1tch
  23. Guess you'd get that sort of scenario in many places but Canaries is looking like a good bet. At least we can get away from any potential undesirables by getting a car and heading off into island every day.
  24. Had a reccommendation of Tunisia, anyone been?? Hotel is near Susah.
