  1. Seen a few rats in the garden recently and they seem to be living under my decking. Has anyone had any luck with over the counter baits or traps. I've just called a pest control company and it's going cost £135 which I'll be happy to pay but not before investigating cheaper alternatives.
  2. Rochdale will smell blood and be right up for up and they'll probably get a goal. We'll faff around, hit the bar/post a few times and we'll make hard work of a 2-1 win.
  3. It's Liebherr's family/legacy, which ultimately is success through an improvement on the investment which is directly related to success on the pitch. It will be driven by his ideals which to date have done him proud. Problem is, do these ideals translate easily to football which has to be one of the most difficult industries to nail. Can he achieve this objective short term? It's going to be interesting to see how NC goes about creating this success and how it equates to what we as fans/paying customers expect. He's trailblazing and it's going to be a very interesting ride as we have already seen. I'm up for it, it's not going to be pretty and we're not going to be given the creedance we've had in the past but I'm well interested to see how it'll turns out!
  4. Was always worried about the blind ambition of the club since the takeover and concerned that it may result in the club being less about the fans and more about a cold, single minded drive for success. Success is great but at what expense.....................I'll heed my own advice and keep some perspective - I'd take our position over many other clubs for sure
  5. Is Guly the new 'Tin Man'?
  6. I think NC has pushed Dune over the edge Is there a home for forum burnouts?
  7. He's dragging the club into the 21st century but I must admit the way he's going about it sucks ass
  8. Footballs great ain't it - a fukking rollercoaster. This 125th year will be remembered for sure, we're only a few games in, whatever next is anyone's guess.
  9. He can **** off
  10. Cup games are too expensive and that puts me off going, 1. can't afford all these games, 2. I have a life outside football that needs to be fullfilled (this is not a dig at those who choose football so please don't start) What I would add is that if they reduced the pricing considerable I may attend more than I do
  11. I'm inclined to agree - shame, I would've liked to see AP succedd and have some stability at this club of ours but then it would be boring on the forum
  12. They're missing a trick here me thinks - they could take photos of all us potential hoolies and then you can view them and purchase ones that you like from a kiosk on your way out the ground, just like theme parks do for rollercoasters
  13. M: Ah. I'd like to have an argument, please. R: Certainly sir. Have you been here before? M: No, I haven't, this is my first time. R: I see. Well, do you want to have just one argument, or were you thinking of taking a course? M: Well, what is the cost? R: Well, It's one pound for a five minute argument, but only eight pounds for a course of ten. M: Well, I think it would be best if I perhaps started off with just the one and then see how it goes. R: Fine. Well, I'll see who's free at the moment..............................................
  14. I too are a little concerned that AP is just not getting the best out of what he's got. Some ingredient 'x' missing and we better find it soon as I really don't want to start over with a new manager
  15. I don't give two hoots if we sell out or buy in to a certain turd who put's benchmarks against how many fickle fans we have (t1t) - whoever is there will be made of the right stuff and I'm sure the atmosphere will reflect. I don't need 100 friends to acknowledge my existence a few good ones are far better.
  16. Poignant story told very well - I hope we can give Markus a good send off on Saturday, will be moving day for me!
  17. lack of signings isn't the real issue, AP ability to make the best of his squad is
  18. I don't agree with that - even without 4 of our top players we still have a very good L1 team, It's up to AP to box accordingly and show his worth
  19. I agree that we should run with who we've got especially as AP may be kicked into touch if he dosen't perform. A good manager should motivate who he has got rather than keep buying players.
  20. No she went on her own That's on Bodmin
  21. It's sensible to assume that when the club was purchased and a plan put in a place a proposed amount of money was put up to fund that plan and will be used according to needs. I can't really imagine they get money ad hoc for players as and when. NC will most certainly have an amount that he'll use to get us where we need to be. For that reason the uncertainty in the short term is not an issue
  22. It's always happend and always will. There's no getting away from it, some rich kids are real mongs and haven't a frigging clue but get there by virute of wealth and connections, conversley poor kids with intellegence and drive can be extremely successfull and well connected. Human nature has got us here and you ain't never gonna changw that and the alternative would be even less pretty if you had a all controlling government
  23. I'm in by the skin of my teeth - Eat my goooaaallllll
  24. This whole sh`te house will come to a head one day - it's just not sustainable. The powers that be need to get effing grip and level the playing field, Bernie Eccleston for FIFA boss.
  25. We're such a reserved bunch us Brits that it can take something like this for people to get really emotional and run with it - I don't think it's a bad thing, I'm personally saddened but not overcome with grief
