I do not fear for our future, whatever happens we're in a good position - the mission is too make us into a viable business where revenue is directly linked to the running of the business instead of the current situation in football of debt or benefactors to make clubs successfull. Hence all the recent unpopular changes. Looks like the investment is already in place and with NC working to make it a going concern and the general move of football needing to sort out it's finances means we're in a good place at the right time. Just a crying shame Markus will not be around to see the fruits of his investment - hopefully he saw enough in his short time and confidence in NC to make it a reality.

Let us be clear about the bigger picture: We're being dragged from the depths of despair and meltdown into a viable stand alone business, let's not kid ourselves, it's going to be a journey that will put a few noses out of joint as we move from a cuddly exterior hiding a wealth of unknowns into an existense where these unknowns are a little more obvious. It is an unfortunate inevitability that we must accept if we wish to survive long term and be successfull. You're probably thinking 'success at the expense of many things we hold dear' but the transition may well be a little uncomfortable for a while but the I fully expect the overall outcome to be a positive rather than a negative and all these negatives may well be put in perspective in the fullness of time and lessons learnt on both sides. The whole industry is in a mess and I feel a trailblaze is forthcoming, it won't be without it's pitfulls and threads of a 1000 pages but it's well overdue and I believe we're the right side of the fence especially considering our friends down the road! The very fact that lately more seems to be debated about every single avenue and nuance of the club since the takeover lends itself to the fact we're preparing the club for the future rather than hanging onto the coattails of the past.

You lot are nuts, I take my hat off to you for having such concern over the smallest details; At the moment the club is not a fluffy little warm collection of WI members gathering once a week for a chinwag it's a frigging business that's being dragged into the 21st century and I/you may not like the minor subtleties of how it's being handled but utlimatley it's going in the right direction for me. Did you really think they were going to roll in and be all 'Michael Wilde' approach to the fans, look what happend there and where we are now. If only some of you got off your soap boxes/ivory towers you might start enjoying where we're really at, all things considered with a nod to last year.
