Munto Finance v Markus Liebherr (Notts County v Saints)
BadgerBadger replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
It would seem at the moment that everyone was blinded by the riches but not everthing that sparkles is gold and lack of due diligence looks likely to be the blame but we know how easy it is for that to fall by the wayside. Looks like Campbell saw the woods for the trees and jumped ship before it sank - Mr Eriksson could well be exposed as the money grabber he always appeared to be but that would be cycnical. Feel for the fans big time on this one and hopefully they'll rise from the flames -
I was only thinking about this the other day - it will certainly improve the recognition and competition at the back of the pack, agree that it should extend further than 10th. It's definatley a worthy improvement and miles better than the silly medals system

Polite question: Why should this be scary? -
Thanks Andrew - Well done Sophie and family, it's great to hear of her improvement and here's hoping the legals are swift and generous All the very best

I only started going regularly after the move to SMS but always had a interest in our results - When we we're in the Prem I used to think 'why would I bother watching Saints if they were in a lower league' as some of the matches we're boring quite frankly - now after watching our demise and rebirth (and the inevitable inherent passion for the team that's created by living the good times and the bad times) I believe good football matches are not based on quality of football - when you want your team to win it's all relevant. Now I've forgotten my point after that babble but it was very cathartic

I've just realised how boring it's been on here since everything started going rosy for us

Just needs a bit of tweaking - rather have a player needing restraining than the opposite, but must admit it was a bit comical tonight, Papa yes or Papa no - I say yes!
-
Good result - not too long ago we would've drawn or lost that game, not pretty but how many games have we played pretty and lost. Cue TDD and the boo boys - 'we have a squad bigger than the division and should be winning 50-0'

It big, it long, it fast, it be British - well done Mr Green They seem confident and well on track http://http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8374491.stm And while I'm at it this is interesting too http://http://www.quicksilver-wsr.com/quicksilver

Dear Top Gear I'd like to complain about the outrageously placed young women (usually of the attractive variety) that you insist on putting in camera shot - they're always there and quite frankly have served only to distract me from my interest in cars and such like Yours Angry from Manchester

I think the level of boisterous support can certainly be linked to class i.e. the more deprived an area the higher the vociferous support - Billy Connolly has said that his gigs are always better in towns where living is hard and I'm inclined to agree.

People who use the phrase 'Going forward' I'm currently eating a homemade vegetable curry that has not turned out as good as Iexpected, 4/10 more work needed

Ones man's rubbish is another man's gold - or something like that

He was only on fire when playing for a contract or trying to get back into the squad, once contracted or picked regular he was pooh

We need more Guardian Angels to run around in their red berets ***tting anything that looks vaguely anti social - sounds like the basis for a rather good computer game
-
One dimensional and lacked creativity at times - part of the learning curve and the teams hardly the finished article so am happy to put this one behind us and move on, I'm sure we'll take more out if this in the long run than we would've a win

Raw talent that if honed correctly will produce a very good player - thought he got found out a bit in the 2nd half

Saint Richmonmd, you sir are a grade A spanner - Can we please put Saint Richmond in a time machine and take him back six months so he can get some perspective. Plus what's with the Pardew's pre season promotion intentions having a bearing on whether you support your club.....I've so much more to say but will not waste my breathe
