  1. You don't mean "The World Is Not Enough "
  2. That in itself is a worthy legacy of Markus Those on here that decry the Watch Story and this thread are, IMHO, completely Heartless, or, as I suspect in the majority of cases, have never lost anyone close to them I went yesterday, and I cried, and I am not ashamed to admit it, because I felt Honoured to be part of it It can never be overestimated exactly How Much he did for Southampton Football Club, in such a short space of time The Hypocrites would do well to remember that, because it is because of that , that they still have a Club to support R.I.P Markus Leibherr
  3. Good job it's been well advertised in all the local papers, so that everyone knows the circumstances, otherwise we'd really be in the mire
  4. That was definitely an 'owler
  5. I could quite easily let him go Trouble was, I was never in the position of being able to dangle him over a cliff
  6. Interesting that the two games he played longest in were the only two we lost
  7. That's it Glad you've entered into the spirit of it I bet you're a wow at a party
  8. Just a tongue in cheek reference to Cortese's wall of silence policy (But thank you for the in depth response)
  9. Well that's F**ked the secrecy with that one then
  10. ...... Not .......... necessarily ............ As I hate Lowe more than most, I would have been the last person to actually think he would have bought us out of Admin. If I said anything like that, then the parsnip wine the vicar gave me must have been stronger than I thought
  11. Apart from Leeds being in the CCC of course
  12. Cortese will not back down He will simply go back to Banking Markus Leibherr was the ONLY reason why he was here Regretably, that reason no longer exists
  13. The question to ask yourself is Who would want to come as BACKUP ???? Answer .... No-one Every player wants First Team Football
  14. If that were the case, then his passing would not have been "expected", which puts a completely different take on everything, ie "Trust Fund" etcf
  15. I think the "acid test" will be whether we DO actually sign anyone imminently Why ?? SFC is run as a Business The "business" was controlled by Leibherr/Cortese Very regretably Marcus has passed away The Business however HAS to go on, day to day decisions STILL have to be made IMHO, if we add to the squad now, it will be a sign of "Business as Usual"
  16. We all hope that SFC's future would have been secured by Marcus Leibherr, but only time will tell whether that is the case "Carrying on the Leibherr legacy" may NOT include SFC, it maybe just a reference to MALI A lot of people have expressed desires to do this and do that, but unfortunately do not cement it in the form of a Will Markus Leibherr would of course left a will, and it will not be until the details of that are made public, that we will really be sure IF actual contingencies were put in place Meantime, my "aspirations" as to Saints future are on hold
  17. It was strange that James signed for a CCC Team However, at the eleventh hour, it did save Pompey having to shell out another 140000 Salary to him I expect it was "included" in the transfer deal
  18. Plus, no-one will come as "cover" for Lambert. Understandable, as most players want regular first team football I expect Barnard hates being subbed
  19. Great suggestion
  20. Possibly to the Branston tune, ie " WIN IT FOR MARKUS " (apologies if this has already been suggested )
  21. I'm afraid it does Even at this tragic time, I don't think even Markus would want Saints to miss out on any opportunities to strengthen HIS Team He would want "Business as usual" I'm sure
  22. ONLY if they employ "Staff" who can cope with more than two people per hour
  23. Cortese's cunning plan is working I, and a lot of others will have an extra pint elsewhere BEFOR coming into the ground Yet another "Business winner" from Nicola
  24. Absolutely right. I think he is Pardew's worst buy. When we start playing the ball on the ground, the oposition don't know how to cope. Then along comes "Desperate Dan" who just hoofs it up in the air I really don't understand Pardew on that at all. I also feel very sorry for Barnard, he gets no help and support at all As you say, shame to moan, but IMHO, it has to be said, otherwise Pardew may not be aware of it A better reult from last Saturday, won with two individual bits of brilliance IMHO The acid test will be MK Dons, in front of their massive support of circa 5000
  25. I believe even more that Cortese is not going to sanction any more signings for Pardew, unless Lambert and Lalanna move on to something better than the third tier of English Football Incidently, why do most on here think that players are actually falling over themselves to come to a Div One Team ??? Get Real people
