Can't see it's anything to do with that. We're a victim of our foreign and domestic policy - meddle in other countries, destabilise them even more, mass exodus ensues, rescue them from the channel on our naval taxis, accommodate them very nicely, look after them for life, reap these kind of benefits. Feckin brilliant.
-
They sure have. The 4 way fight for the top 2 spots is gonna be interesting, and tough.
-
Don't worry Nick, the CoT is.like a non mythical Santa or the tooth fairy Nick. It's always there, and appears when the time is right.
-
Yep, or until we agree a deal to pay cash in lieu. There are usually many million reasons why PL managers don't rush back to work after being sacked.
-
All factors. We can't overlook the weakness of our currency either. A billion dollar plane is crazily overpriced anyway, but the we ain't helped by having a piss weak pound when we're buying so much military kit and hardware from overseas.
-
Absolutely, great work from all. An honourable mention to tdmickey and others in the support team for adding something by constantly nibbling and getting wound up. Set them an honorary table at the end of season soirée I say.

He's been on loan at St Mirren. Played a bit (out of position), then recalled, then released. There was an article in the athletic a while back about him saying how things weren't going great for him.
-
A couple of times he spoke out about him publicly, blunt criticism. Not a helpful way to deal with a 17 year old.
-
More red cards while on loan than saints appearances. Contract terminated. Horrific comments from Ralph. Not great for a kid we paid £3.5m for. Hopefully he finds somewhere and can carve himself a career.
-
Yep. And the fact that we're talking about mothballing one of our aircraft carriers, and can't use the other one as we can't supply and staff a support ship to run alongside it, is an absolute disgrace.
-
Sorry poppet, force of habit.
-
No way are you 5'6 Del, but cracking jacket. Hypo is a bigger lad than I thought, and Whelk looks quite tidy to be fair.
-
Yep, something like that. Agents fees doubtless coming out of that, and something to Charly for relocation etc. We ain't buying Fraser from the small profit was my point.
-
Good move for all is that. Broja and Jiminez could be a cracking partnership.
-
There is no money for Alcaraz. They've covered his wages, and given us a drink on top.
-
It's the Charles at a pinch bit I don't like personally. I'd be comfortable with an embarrassment of options to help get us over the line.
-
Can't see another midfielder coming in. I can only see it being a centre forward, if one of Mara or Adams leave. Assuming we lose Holgate, I'd expect to see a versatile defender who could give cover at full back and CB.
-
I once heard someone describe a quality loan with a proven track record as being like a high class escort, and buying a Carlos kick a ball with no track record over here as being like an internet arranged marriage. We need them hookers that know what they're doing.
-
It could as simple as the manager and coaches preferring to work with players who don't have a language barrier, and who don't need to time to settle into a new culture etc. You can see the appeal.
-
Yep, and the Brooks signing makes me wary of whether we're comfortable having a more defensive RB in Bree (with Holgate as cover) with the attacking talent of Brooks ahead of him. I'm hoping our outgoing business will be done after Alcaraz, but I'm not sure it will be. Until we hear that window slam, anything is possible.
-
He's flattered to deceive for me and feels a bit like Ramirez all over again. With Brooks, and a returning Aribo and improving Rothwell, I don't think we'll notice that he's gone.
-
I think if anyone goes, it's Alcaraz. Rothwell coming in gives cover in that position.
