Redmond won't provide that dynamism. Is he realistically going to play this season? I can't see it, hence shifting his wages off the books makes sense to me.

Yep. So many people say we should pay x, but not as much as y, and not sell for less than z. Really odd imo. I'm a fan, I watch the team, and assume other people know what they're doing on the money side.

Correct. I don't get the complaints about what they've done. They had hardly anyone left and had to rebuild a squad - 15 out and 20 in is not outrageous.

I don't buy that, and what would be the point. None of us would be delighted that we gave it our best shot but didn't get our man.
