Yep, agree with most of that. He's had a shocker and has made them worse. Big Dunc would have done better, and probably the youth team coach. Terrible appointment, although I think they'll avoid relegation, unfortunately.

Thanks for sharing that, and breaking up the flirting.
  5. Yep, and there's a small matter of Seager suffering an awful injury. Sims had his health and injury issues, and was awfully managed. Hesketh just wasn't at the right level sadly. Ballard looks a hell of a talent though. Impressive bit of business tying him down.
  6. I get that. The ugly became dominated by politics, people switched off, and the site suffered. That said, the issue on this thread has been the OP's unwillingness to accept any opinion other than his own, plus his constant "thick c@nt" name calling and personal jibes. Sadly that kind of nonsense will damage any thread.
  7. I'm happy to discuss by pm, not on a public forum.
  8. Over
  9. That's a myth. He and others all left for the same reason, and one I won't share. Merson stayed because he had to, and Stelling initially as Merse was. I'm not sure why Stelling has decided to stay after this season.

  11. Bucha was horrific. No neutrality. That's a completely different issue to a reaction about another man's opinion. I'm not having some pious person on the web telling me how I should be upset about what Le Tiss thinks. Bizarre carry on tbh. As a wise man once said: When evil men plot, good men must plan. When evil men burn and bomb, good men must build and bind. When evil men shout ugly words of hatred, good men must commit themselves to the glories of love.
  12. Your opinions seem to be largely about other people. Personally, I roll through life accepting that I can't do shit about what the likes of Le Tiss thinks. Getting all upset about it is a waste of energy imo. You carry on being unhappy about it though if it makes you happy. Don't be confusing that with not having an opinion on situations though - I've been as clear as can be that I think the behaviour of Putin and his foot soldiers is repugnant.
  13. We had this on the covid thread. Any dinlo capable of thinking that Bucha was staged by the Ukrainians are going to think that regardless of what some ex footballer thinks. Lets just assume that a few deluded fools have had their views swayed by Matt, what difference will that make in the overall scheme of things. I'll continue my focus on sitting back and seeing what the West actually does, not in what one idiot thinks/writes
  14. I'm as interested in what you think about me as I am about what you think about Le Tiss. I think he's an idiot tbh, but it ain't gonna change his opinion, and seemingly hasn't done your blood pressure any good.
  15. Indeed. I haven't bothered reading what he's written, but if it's what is suggested then his views don't align with mine. However, my shouting and bawling about it ain't gonna a) change his views or b) changed what's happened/happening. I'm more interested in what the West does about the situation than being all pious about what some ex footballer thinks.
  16. Blimey pal, you're gonna give yourself a hernia. So in your virtue signalling world, anyone who doesn't make a twat of themselves on the web about someone else making a twat of themselves on the web, is a coward. Sort yourself out pal.
  17. His views ain't gonna change what's happened, and what is going to happen. MLT's personal opinion (albeit seemingly warped - I haven't read it) seems an odd thing to get upset about.

Yep, he's been a revelation, despite having some average players in his squad. N comparison, Lampard has had a shocker at Everton, and will hopefully take them down.

To be honest, I couldn't give a monkeys what Le Tiss thinks. I'm more concerned about what sensible thinking people in the West do.

That is barbaric. Seriously fucked up behaviour.
  22. Is there evidence out there that energy from solar and wind is sufficient to meet needs, and that the battery tech is sufficient to store it? What's the environmental impact of making those batteries? I'd love to see the world move away from fossil fuels, but I can't see that it's realistic. Nuclear and Hydrogen gives us our best chance, but solar/wind/batteries just isn't realistic.

  24. I've seen zero evidence that battery tech has progressed to the extent that the planet needs to eradicate fossil fuels. There's also the issue of how much energy and environmental damage goes into mining for the battery raw ingredients. The bottom line is that batteries themselves cause all sorts of environmental damage. This drive to renewables is an unrealistic pipe dream.
