He did well yesterday and was the perfect fit up there with us down to 10. As others have said, he's a great pro and puts in a shift, and for me he offered more yesterday than A Armstrong has all season.
-
The slide down to league 1 was grim, but the time after that were some of my best as a fan. Good times.
-
He hasn't all season. Looked like a poor man's Shane Long tonight.
-
Good point, but he ain't going anywhere yet.
-
I'd take money for Moi and Djenepo if offered, but nobody is taking Long and Walcott off our hands, and Forster is going in the summer.
-
Ten men for 90 mins?
-
Yep. This performance is down to being down to 10, this score is down to a decent effort from the weakened squad.

New contract time.

She was ok until that giggle when they scored. The main comm is shite though.
-
Was that Bednarek ball to long?
-
Yep. Should have been 3 up before they scored.
-
That was utter shite from Elyonoussi.
-
Worse than that. Not impressed at all.
-
How?!? Harder to miss than score.
-
Sure does. Not at the races at all.

It would be, but if we're working on a Brentford model of buying cheap and selling high (essentially what we've always done but with a different approach to scouting) that ain't going to happen. As Chez says, I think the main difference will be cash flow.

Yep. What we call a 10 isn't really a 10 (central link between midfield and attack) or a winger. Thus, we get wingers not great when they come inside, or midfielders lacking when they go outside, or strikers who have to adapt to alien role. I agree that our only natural is S Armstrong and all the others do a job there, except perhaps Redmond who's a better footballer than he's given credit for. I still don't know why we gave Walcott 2 years when he doesn't suit the position we ask him to play.

"may await". Or it may not await. Speculation it would seem.
-
Nice. He's a bright lad and it'd be interesting if this on the football or non football side. Our new Dane had a short lived career and has gone onto good things.
-
Cheers, my mistake.

Ah possibly, I may have confused them. Small is an interesting player. There's a case for blooding him with a senior pro ahead of him, or Perraud at LB with a youngster ahead of him.
-
Our best keeper, our only available first team RB and LB, two of our 3 CM's, 2 decent first team CB's, our most senior available CF, our best 10. Not sure where it's weak tbh, and if we don't blood kids in cup games, when can we?
-
I'd go with that, but Simeu has covid I think so I'd go with a back 4 and bring one of the youngsters into the front 4, either Olaigbe on the left or Ballard up top. Forster Valery Stephens Lyanco Perraud Diallo Romeu Armstrong Olaigbe Armstrong Tella
