  1. What difference does it make to you or anyone else if someone believes in the creation theory? You say its no skin off your nose, but you've stepped into the thread and made a point quite forcefully which suggests it does matter to you.
  2. That doesn't alter that the fact that some people believe it's option 2 and are entitled to that opinion. Tim's post also highlights how pointless any "discussion" on the point is. There's 2 options. Take your pick and disagree with someone else's opinion if you really must. If someone believes in the creation theory (entirely different of course to a belief in a god of course) rather than logical science, it makes no difference to anyone else. Indeed, it staggers me that anyone would be interested in whether someone else believes science or creation, God or no God, religion or no religion. Live and let live.
  3. Translation "people with more understanding than me told me what I didn't want to hear".
  4. Your interpretation of the tales of one holy book has been done to death mate. This isn't a bible study thread. If you want a theological discussion, perhaps broaden your horizons.
  5. I get your sentiment, but I'm not sure many people are saying that Valery is decent. Perhaps Valery. And his agent.
  6. Curveball, but I'd be happy with that. Him as a 10 gives us options, an alternative to what we have obviously, but also possibly shifting Armstrong to a 6, meaning JWP or Diallo for FB cover.
  7. Yep, but only til next summer on sensible wages. If he wants longer and/or high wages, then no.
  8. Slinger
  9. Ha!! That's better than official confirmation.
  10. Where's this Lookman talk come from? That seems very unlikely, but would be a great bit if business.
  11. Yep, pretty much agree with that. Stephens at LB, staying back, gives scope for KWP to play high and a 10 on the left to get forward and mostly stay there. At the end of the day, we're skint so if we get nobody in we'll have to make do. Ferry looks a player though, and you be right that after Vokins has shown that he's not quite at the level that Ferry now his has chance as the next young LB.
  12. Made/created/caused, it's obvious to the non fuckwits amongst us what was meant.
  13. He's a a decent winger to be fair and perhaps the club think it's easier to convert him to a full back than a 10. It's amazing though that last week he was seen as understudy to Vokins, but after he was shipped out as not being good enough that Ferry is now deemed good enough cover. Gulp.
  14. Yes he did. There was an article, I think in The Athletic, a while ago. If I recall correctly they had to undo the surgery and rebuild again. Horrible injury.
  15. Tangagnga, that's more like it. We need proper defenders to give defensive cover, not midfielders who can do a job.
  16. Thanks, you saved me the bother.
  17. Nature or evolution didn't make man eat an infected animal, or other people spread it. Some may say God made man do that. I don't buy that. If we're being told the truth, a man ate a bat thus bringing this stuff into the human race. Humans then made decisions which allowed this to spread. It's man made. I'm not saying it's deliberate, but on a God thread, I'm saying it's not God made. That leaves only man.
  18. Dim, jeez. If I'm the kettle, you're a fucking massive pot. Who's responsible for Covid getting into humans and spreading Weston. Man, God, the fairies, or something else. Come on, admit it ain't God, and you don't seem like a fairy kind of man...
  19. Thanks. The tariffs are not a "casual" impact of brexit. We are caught by them because of brexit and not agreeing a "free trade deal without quotas or tariffs" that Boris said we had. I think you're desire to be right is stopping you from seeing what is clear as day. Answer me this please: 1. would we be caught by tariffs / quotas on steel exports to the EU if brexit had not happened? 2. would we be caught by tariffs / quotas on steel exports to the EU if we had a free trade deal without tariffs / quotas in respect of steel products? We both know the answers but I doubt you'll have the grace to accept that you're wrong.
  20. Weston, again you're not keeping up mate. This is a "God" thread. The simple point, that's sadly too complicated for you, is that it's not a God made virus. That leaves man, or the fairies, or hmm. It's a man made virus, and whether that is through design or negligence is a separate matter, but if a man ate a dodgy bat, it's man made. Nice attempt with the shovel, but you're not bright enough for put downs.
  21. KWP isn't AMN. Others may see a premier league LB in AMN but I don't. Wing back, sure, but not a left back in a 4.
  22. I know that you have a little issue with my posts Weston, but take a deep breath mate and read all the words. You missed out "one way or another". Some believe it was made by a man eating a contaminated animal. That's one way. Others have different views. I've covered all bases and offered no view. God bless you.
  23. Weston, not sure what you're reading but the first link you posted on the point clarified what this is about. We had a brexit vote before 2018. Then on 2018, in anticipation of brexit, we were the subject of measures on our steel exports. Those measures were expected to go. Since 1st January this year, as a result of brexit, our steel exports are subject to quotas and tariffs thus: 1. when Boris says we have a tariff /quota free trade deal he's lying 2. we have that because of Brexit 3. you're wrong, again.
  24. King for Long would be decent. I'm not convinced by AMN personally, there's a reason he's about 4th choice LB for Arsenal,, including behind an out of position Cedric. His signing has a feeling of "yeah, he'll do".
