Brilliant and Ioyal servant to the club who made had some great games for us. That said, his best days are behind him and he wasn't getting any game time here and was unlikely to unless we had a couple of injuries or suspensions. With his contract up in the summer, it made sense to let him go. We have 4 CB's for 2 places so we'll be fine for the rest of the season.

All I know is he spent time at Golden Ring over the close season and worked hard to come back super fit. Has only made the bench once since and hasn't seen any minutes. Official site announcement says nothing about "wishing him luck" as per other loanees. Doesn't look good for a very talented kid.

We're only weaker if a) KWP is worse than Cedric or b) we suffer injuries or suspensions to enough CB's to miss Yoshida.

You can come back and gloat if our league position is impacted by errors from the RB area in games that Cedric would have played in.

Ha!! I've not seen one person support Gao. Just a number of people who are realistic in the face of many who aren't.

If it was unclear, the point was how many high earners left the club on perm deals in the summer. Seems reasonable that they should if we're to bring in more high earning players on perm deals.

Slattery needed a loan to help him develop, and there's little other options in the u23 with Hamblin moving on. If the choice was to keep Slattery and hold him back, or let him go on loan but get cover from a lad on what is essentially a loan cum extended trial, I personally think we've made the right choice.

He's gone to arsenal. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have let Cedric go this window, but its worked out OK.

Presumably this is just u23 cover for Slattery, with a possibile perm deal of he looks good enough. Slattery needed games at a half decent level so this makes sense.

Rate a transfer window? Behave. We have Valery fit to give us our first choice RB back. Bertrand is our first choice LB. KWP can cover both. Our first choice CB's are fit and in form, and we have 2 players to cover them. What more do you honestly think we needed for the rest of the season? Where are we exposed?

So we've ended the window with 4 CB's to cover 2 positions, and replaced a RB that everyone said was **** with a RB who may or not be ****. In doing so we've shifted 2 big earners off the bill. Slattery has gone on loan to get game time but looks like he'll be covered in the u23's by a lad from Chelsea, and Ramsey has gone off to play men's football for the rest of the season. Not sure what the flapping is all about.

I forgot how good bearsy 's stuff was. We're financially viable and sustainable. That, at its simplest, is a well run football business. If it isn't, tell me your definition of a well run football business.

Wrong. Making transfer decisions that haven't worked us does not alter the fact that we're well run strategically and financially. As a business the club works. Throwing money around whilst being stuck with a load of ****e players would be stupid.

We have been well run but made awful transfer decisions. If those transfers had come off they'd be no whingeing. Doing what people on here are calling for would make us badly run. We need to clear out the ****e and rebuild. It's not complicated.
