Sunrise, the naming if JD was inevitable after the manner of his arrest. The way that was handled was a disgrace and the daily mail article above is spot on. Whilst I can't see how it can be in the public interests to charge the likes of JD for such stale offences, my gut feel is that the cps/police will come under pressure to make an example of someone. The nature of JD arrest makes me feel he could be the whipping boy. He's certainty a softer target than Max Clifford and some of the others who have been named.

I ditched clinique m for the same reason. Gillette, Nivea etc don't compare. Original source is cracking value and believe it or not the lidl sensitive gel is amazing.

That's the other lad I was thinking of. league 1 loans seem to be the progression from u21 games so the likes of Seager move up to the u21 team giving another lad a chance in the u18. The academy and development system is so good that I'm sure that no loan move would be sanctioned without looking at the impact down the chain.

It'll give game time for the likes of lee though, and give chances for other youngsters like Sinclair that have been in Hoskins shadows. The conveyer belt has to keep rolling etc.

I think he's been asked that about half a dozen times now Del, but he won't/can't answer. The best he's come up with was that Puncheon was apparently better and that Guly didn't score.

Tdd, for me I'm not stating the name I've heard because I don't think it's my place to put it in the public domain. I'm well aware how I could post it without libelling anyone or exposing the site but i get nothing out of doing so why bother.

Surprised by the 53 yo, didn't see that one at all. Sent from my Lumia 710 using Board Express

Maddog, on both I used a chippy to do the stairs, joists, boards, studwork, Velux and door hanging etc. I got a labourer in to throw up the insulation and plaster board. Sparky to do first fix, then plasterer, then Sparky to second fix. It really isn't much when you break it down. Bigbadbob, I didn't bother with an architect. The first just kind of evolved from an idea to create a storage area and done with input from the chippy. The second was almost a carbon copy and done with a pointing where we wanted walls and doors. I didn't bother with planning or building regs in advance, instead I got retrospective consent on one and on the other just gave an insurance policy against breaches when I sold up. That's not the most sensible way to do it though so it's best that do what you should. Drawings for building regs, and planning if you'll need it, shouldn't cost much.

It is, but not the only one. It would be different if he was playing the full 90 up front week in and week out. Instead he's been mostly left on the sidelines, and over christmas played out wide with defensive responsibilities. He's done his job well. If you disagree, and as others have asked, what did Guly do wrong yesterday? If scoring goals is the only matter that suggests a good performance I presume you feel that lambert and puncheon were poor as well ?

I've done a couple on properties I've owned. They can be great investments. Roof spaces without trusses are a doddle as there's normally enough support in place for the roof. If you have trusses they must be removed and the roof strengthened. That ain't cheap. Also bear in mind stair position and head height. Conversions are much easier when you can get a stair run into the highest part of the roof space (and preferably a following the path of the existing) rather than a sloping pitch. E.g. If you're converting a semi detatched house , and the stairs are on the inside wall then life's easier than if the stair run was on the outside wall. Word of advice. If possible get different trades in yourself rather than paying a builder to site manage. My last conversion cost me about £7k (hand built stairs and spindles, large bedroom, three walk in cupboards, large velux/fire escape, electrics, boiler moved to a new boiler cupboard, plastered and plastering the rest of the hall and landing areas). The best "all in" price was about £20k plus vat.

On balance we are a better side with AL, but I agree that it's difficult to make a case fro him, GR, JP and a striker in the team against the better sides and particularly away. Guly offered great solidity and tracking back yesterday and was a very able, albeit very different, replacement for AL. To those who judge a player by his goal scoring record alone, behave. Guly has scored many vital goals for us but over the christmas period he has been asked to play a supportive left sided role that has freed up space for others and offered support to Shaw. I doubt RL, or anyone, would score many goals in that role.

Cheers terrypward. I'll get some kit ordered in and if you don't mind will PM you if/when I hit a snag.

I have no mac products and had never heard of apple tv or raspberry til this thread. I love the sound of them both but apart from the brand name and a pretty box, what do I get for a 200 apple box that I can't get from a 50 raspberry box? If it helps I'm interested in functionality over style.

Why do you say he's available? If so, that's the balance needed. Neither a nipper nor a has been.
-
Is he there? Hadn't realised. Seriously though, the keeper options are limited. It seems to be a straight choice between has beens, kids and what we have.
-
So is Butland the answer Prof, if not who do you suggest?,
-
He's badly overweight though and just seems to have fallen away. At his peak he was amazing, but so was Boruc but look at him now. I'd be happy with a stopgap for this season only but I'm not sure Robinson is the man. Where's Kuzscak these days?
-
I'm in two minds on Butland tbh but I can't think of an alternative. Friedel and Robinson would be stop gaps. Boruc should have been the answer but for whatever reason hasn't worked out. Gazza will be a top keeper but ain't ready yet. I think Butland could be the present and the future.
-
Interesting. Nixon has a good record with us. Would be superb to get them both.

I'm guilty of wanting him dropped. I wanted more pace and movement up front, and JR given a proper chance. After yesterday I'm persuaded that JR and RL should play together. But, when GR plays in the hole we have the problem of playing RL and having no pace up top. We can overcome that by sticking GR out wide but compromising his talents. If we play GR and RL we have to compromise somewhere. Do we sacrifice pace and movement up top, or GR talents? It's tough but there will be times that RL will have to be sacrificed.

Your first post was clear. You later changed your mind, which is fine, but don't have a pop at me and others when your initial view is questioned.
-
But can it stream football, films and tv as terrypward asked? Serious question as if it can I may invest. Otherwise I'll get the slightly less pretty raspberry thingy.
-
I don't fancy NA having to pick a team after yesterday. Guly, JR, RL would all feel hard done by if dropped but I think it's nailed on that we'll revert to 4231 with GR in the team and probably in the hole. I said before yesterdays game that we'll compete and I think tomorrow will be close. NA has wised up tactically and he won't play into their hands like we did at at their place. 2-2

Your 1st comment on the subject included these words: "If we really want the manager to manage the team and make it a big success, then why don't we ask him who he wants for a change, rather than getting yet another player in from the Italian game who our Chairman happens to have heard of/fancy?" The only interpretation of that is that NA hasn't had a say in transfer targets. If you post stuff like that you can't start having a pop at people when they question why you say it!
